Gyro's are good and the amount of food they serve you is more than plenty.
Quintessential Chicago dawg house. The Char dog and Ditka were amazing. I want to try everything on the menu.
They were fairly busy when I stopped in for lunch, which is a good sign. Food is made to order. Prices are very reasonable,... especially for the North suburbs. Ordered the Patty Melt and Large Fries. Both were hot and tasted very fresh. The sandwich wasvery good, not over cooked like a lot of places tend to do. I think the fries were very good and are equal to the fries atRicobene's or 5 Guys. Definitely placing Max's Dawg House on my starred places to stop at when in the neighborhood. Read more
No kidding, this place has good hot dogs and fries. I already know a lot of places and spots with good food, especially hot... dogs, and I would definitely include this one. I like them not only for their food, but I also like them because they haveamazing and great customer service. Their employees inside are really nice and very accommodating. It is really nice to have ashort chat with the employees while waiting for the food and, most importantly, a kind of chat that really has a sense. Back tothe food: although they have a variety of selections on their menu, I just chose a hot dog and fries for some reason, and I donot regret it, or else I would not be able to know how good their hot dogs and fries are. Their hot dogs are so simple andbasically the same as the other hot dogs around, but they serve them hot with every fresh ingredient in it, and they tastedelicious. Their hot dogs are those kinds of hot dogs that a child would always want. The fries were also good. It is crispy andit is perfectly seasoned. Their prices are fair and very reasonable, which is why I love them so much, not just for the food andservice but also for their good prices. Read more
Been coming here on and off for about 10/11 years. Love the place, No frills, just good food! They put five guys and shake shack... to shame, and they do it with ease! If you want a good burger, dog, polish, and/or fantastic fries, hop on in and get your grubon. Honorable mention, very clean bathrooms! You know what they say, "clean bathrooms clean kitchen!" I had the Gyro w/ fries and drink. I have to say the best gyro meat it was well cooked and had a crisp to it just the way i like... it. Good fries too! They were very quick even though they were busy. I am definitely coming back!!! Read more
Hotdogs were standard, fries were fine. Unfortunately the polish sausage and burger I got were burned to a crisp, possibly the... driest sausage I have ever tasted. The variety on the menu is good but it seems if you order anything other than the hotdog it'sa tossup. Read more
