Reviews for Yiasou Cafe in Liberty, NY
Great food Large large orders so definitely come with an appetite!
My husband and I found this place a few years ago on our way to Bethel Woods. We went again this year before we went to see the... Doobie Brothers. The food was delicious and the portions are very generous. It was worth missing our exit on the interstate. Read more
Pleasantly surprised! Ordered a Falafel sandwich and the wife ordered a Chicken Souvlaki sandwich to go. When opened we were... greeted with 2 beautifully prepared sandwiches that were definitely made with love, everything was super fresh and delicious! Will definitely explore their food menu more deeply the next time around when I'm in the area. Delicious good and generous portions. The staff was very polite and attentive. Definitely will go back again.
This is the best Greek restaurant I have eaten in outside of Queens, NY. The atmosphere is very nice; it is clean and bright.... The food was outstanding! Everything came out quickly and cooked to perfection. The fried calamari was light, crispy, andtender. The bronzini was crispy on the outside, and moist and tender on the inside. The best part of our visit was out server,Kylie (sorry if I spelled this wrong!) She was friendly and attentive, and made us feel welcomed. She was professional andknowledgeable about the menu items. The restaurant uses her grandmother's recipe for a pineapple cream pie... it was withoutexaggeration the best piece of pie I have ever had. It was also nice meeting the owner, George, who friendly and welcoming. Ourother server, Jocelyn, was also very professional and pleasant. Overall, this was a great experience! Read more

Amazing! Such a great little Greek restaurant! We were in town for business and rushed to the restaurant, making it there about... 7:10 (they close at 8) thinking they would be starting to close up, but they were super busy. Chose a table (out of the two thatwere available) and ordered a beer from the chalk board. They had a decent selection, not huge but wide ranging. Next a verynice older gentleman brought homemade bread with amazing soft butter, Soo fresh and tasty! (highly recommended to have some withyour salad. I decided to ordered the chicken Slovaki with a Greek salad and it was a feast! Very impressed with the food qualityand the friendly service! Prices were totally reasonable given the experience too. Will definitely be stopping back by the nexttime we're in town! Read more
Great place for dining. It's one of those hole in a wall places you shouldn't judge by location. Portion sizes are huge and... can literally feed two with one entree. My wife had the Gyro special which came with a full pita bread cut into quarters withGreek salad, gyro meat and souvlaki. Best souvlaki I've had outside of Greece. Feta cheese was the same way. I had theseafood special of the day which was in a white sauce with linguine, which I prefer, and had poached salmon, calamari, shrimp, mussels, and octopus. The salad that came with it is hands down the freshest with their house vinaigrette and was a meal initself. My wife and I have traveled through the Mediterranean and eaten tons of places around the world and count this a greatdinning place that shouldn't be missed if you love Greek and Mediterranean food.
