We eat breakfast here far more often than we should but the servers and cooks are friendly and responsive and the food is... predictable and always good. When they are short-staffed and super busy it can understandably be hard to keep up. Ever waitedtable? And jerk customers might get an appropriate response. We like them and will keep coming back. Service was good the first 5 minutes then our server kept going outside to smoke and took us 20 minutes to finally get the bill.... My father had to wait at the register for 14 minutes before he could pay and he had to keep trying to get them to wait on him.The male server was completely rude telling my dad that if he didn't like waiting then he should've went to McDonald'sinstead!!!!!!!! I asked for 'crispy' bacon, and recieved nasty burnt under-cooked bacon. The rest of the meal was OK. But now I understand why... the parking lot is empty most of the time. Enough said. Read more
Came to waffle house at 1:30am and all the lights were on. Went to go pull the door and it was locked. Not a soul was inside. We... waited around for a few more minutes and here comes the workers from across the parking lot. They explained they had an?emergency? but all 3 of them needed to go? And one came back on a bike and the other two were walking. They told us they coulddine-in after telling me on the phone 30 minutes prior that they were doing take-out only. Now we are waiting outside in thecold because they locked the key inside. Great service. Only reason im still here is just to see this out because at those pointi might as well ???? Read more
As many times as I have been eating at the Waffle House, this is probably the first time I didn't have waffles or pancakes. I... did have toast, bacon, steak, eggs and hash browns. Very enjoyable dinner. They still have spaced tables and a couple werewearing masks. The plastic menu smelled of disinfectant, hopefully this addition will continue in the future. Read more
A) They won't do to-go orders of they have more than a couple customers B) They charge an additional 20% on all to-go... orders C) If your "servers" are preparing the food then they aren't servers and should be paid accordingly. Don't expect yourpatrons to support your employees because you're too cheap to pay them a fair wage. This misclassification of employees isillegal. Read more
