They used to be great but whoever ownes this particular one had ran it in the ground! Subpar everything. Barely gives any good... even when you pay for extra! $15 for a salad with less meat than they give without paying for extra. 2pks of crackers (4total), what you going to do with that???? Just plain cheapness but expecting a fortune or of my pocket! I been eating samething for 20 yearsand you door have killed the greatness of sub station II! That's the taste of Lexington for ya! 1st timer. Fast, friendly service. Order at the counter, sandwiches made in front of you. Pick the bread, walk down the line and... select your toppings. Pay at the counter while your sandwich is completed. Accepts Apple Pay. Pepsi fountain drinks includingDiet Mountain Dew. Lots of seating in a clean, open restaurant. Free parking is a bit tight. Been awhile since I had been to a Sub Station so tried them again today. Had a Turkey, Roast Beef and Cheese Salad. It was... prepared in front of me and was done quickly. Salad was a good size and was good. Plus right now have a special where you buytheir cup and then when you return your drink is 99 cents which beats 2 or 3 dollars for a drink. I had a large order at lunch on a Saturday and was worried about it taking a long time or being wrong, but the team there was... fast and the food was excellent! I had the Philly cheese steak sub and some of my group had salads they loved! Read more
Edit: The food has severely gone down hill since my previous review. They made me a cheese sandwich and didn?t include any of... the other ingredients I ordered. Will no longer be eating here, unfortunately. Just ate here for the first time and I?mabsolutely in love! The prices are really inexpensive. The bread was fresh and delicious. I'm giving them 3 stars. It has been quite good in the past and has been our go-to for subs, however the last few months we've... had sub-par meals. Not sure why the cheesesteak is now served absolutely drenched in raw onions and peppers. And when mayo isadded I feel like the new employees must have worked at Burger King before. The sandwich is smothered in it. I don't know. I'm just very disappointed. I want to keep giving them another chance, but every time it's just disappointing :( Read more
