When you need some of the unique things this store has to offer - unusual fruits/vegetables, fresh herbs, sausage, wine, craft... beer or some of their better baked goods (best pies around) then this is an excellent store for shopping. But try to resistthe urge to pick up even a single one of your ?regular? groceries or you will pay up to 3x the price. Visiting from out of state. Had beer at my son's house that is brewed in Columbia. He bought it at Lowes foods. I came this... morning to buy that beer in 6packs to share with friends out of state. Found it in singles, so asked the young man working thebeer section about 6packs. He had no idea what beer I was talking about, nor did he offer to help find it. Cashier Bradley triedto help. He asked an older gentleman named John about 6packs. l heard John say, "I doubt it." Doubt? He never stopped emptyingan end cap and attempt to find out. I was happy to shop in this store b/c my family talked it up a lot. I am leaving quitedisappointed. I expected better customer service. Read more
This store is actually fun to shop in. I love the little sections for various items. There's even a specialty soap section. The... produce section is absolutely wonderful. This was my first visit and I will be back often! Some things are a little pricey butthere are lots of bargains to be found :-) Read more

Last night, I needed to pick up some last-minute groceries. I always prefer to do my shopping at Lowe?s. The employees are very... personable. The boys behind the meat counter were very helpful. The bakery goods are delicious! Cashiers were also fast. Will beback! Read more
Edit: the new beer den master, with management?s acquiescence, has driven out one of the best employees in the store. I?ll never... cross the threshold of this Lowe?s (and maybe no others) ever again. I love everything about this store except the new beer denmaster. I have never seen a person look like they don?t want to be there than her. This has nothing to do with her ?new policy,?she?s just an unpleasant person. Every time I?ve ever been in, every single other employee has bent over backwards to help, sayhello, or just otherwise be a decent human being. This is one of the reasons I continually return. But the new beer den masterjust does not exemplify the friendliness and welcoming of Lowes employees not only here, but in every Lowes I?ve been into bothhere in South Carolina, but also in North Carolina. Just went in to get a case of beer and some can soup, both which was on sale with the card. The young man appeared to scan my... card, but it apparently didn't scan. The total rang up full price on all items. I asked him to scan my card again and he said"I've already scanned it" and refused to scan again. I decided to just walk out since there was a big line of people behind me.They've lost my business. Read more
