Extremely friendly and helpful staff, neat atmosphere, very clean inside, amazingly good food, short wait time, and prices that... don?t break the bank. I had lunch there yesterday, and the pimento bacon burger was the best cheeseburger I?ve ever eaten, andthe bacon wasn?t the thin precooked bacon like many places use, but it was thick sliced and fried perfectly. Cozy interior with a line of small booth seating down one wall, opposite the open grill / food prep area. Some counter seating... as well. The air conditioning vents in the ceiling point straight down onto the booths and can get very cold. We had to movefrom the middle booth because it was so uncomfortable. Great selection of burgers, sandwiches & fried shrimp. Fried pickles(pickle chips, not spears) are very tasty. Not overly breaded & nice dill flavor. Onion rings were good, nice portions. Cheesesteak sub filling was very good, sandwich a little dry since no condiments on the bun. BLT on sourdough bread with 5 slices ofcrispy bacon was a winner. Great chocolate shakes & concrete mixers with choice of stir-in toppings. Second visit tried the"build your own burger". The burger I had was delicious. I had the Carolina Classic Cheeseburger. It comes with slaw, minced onions, chili, mustard and... and of course cheese. The waitress did a great job! The atmosphere of the restaurant was really cool with the various wall artand music from the good old 60's and 70's. I recommend going and I will be returning there soon. Read more

I came in on 2/8/22 just about an hour ago now. I ordered a BLT with the bacon cooked light and it was not cooked like I had... ordered so I politely asked the lady and gentlemen cooking the food if it could be cooked to where the bacon was lightly cooked.The lady I spoke to took the gentlemen to the back and when they came back the gentlemen began preparing my food with anattitude and then began tossing the bread and bacon. The sandwich barely had any lettuce on it, the bread was soggy and fallingapart. It was literally thrown together. My family and I come here on a regular basis and never have any issues. Let me say that the service was good, staff had a very pleasant attitude, & was welcoming. The food was amazing, probably the... best burger I've ever had. Only issue I had is my husband ordered water to drink. She brings it to the table & it's pink. Sheapologized & said she knows it is pink but it's because it comes out from the same spot the juice does in the machine. Iunderstand the issue & appreciated her up front explanation but how did we know that's why the water was a different color. Howdid she knows that's actually why it was discolored? He didn't drink it to see if tasted different although she said itwouldn't. I just felt like it was unacceptable to serve that. I'm assuming they didn't have bottles water because it wasn'toffered. So really it wouldn't have been no different to go back to the dish sink and give clear water over the ice. Overall thefood and place was great. I just felt the water was unacceptable. Read more
