I had lunch for the first time at The Eatery yesterday afternoon. I was immediately excited when I saw the menu. I knew that it... was going to be fire when I saw the older gentleman, wearing a cowboy hat, working the grill. I ordered the Tacos Birria?Sooodelicious. The service was impeccable. First time ordering food at this establishment. I have been wanting to try this place since it opened, but never made it there... until today. Staff was friendly. I ordered the quesabirria for takeout. Got home and they were still piping hot. Man, theywere good. The verde sauce had just the right amount of heat too. Will definitely eat here again soon. My brother-in-law took my husband and I there today. It was the best food we have had in Lexington hands down. I got the street... tacos and they were the best. The fresh toppings are a bonus. You have to go and give it a try. Read more

This was not what we were expecting based on the name. The Eatery is actually El Comedor, Mexican food. This place was great.... The Carne Asada was tender with great flavor along with the rice and Pico on hand made corn tortillas. This was top 3 best CarneAsada plates I have had. We also got the Quesadilla with steak, grilled onions, tomatoes and queso. This thing was huge andfull of flavor. The nachos plate had steak, tomato, queso, refried beans and shreaded cheese. Large portion and verygood. Each plate was made as we requested and hot. The sala verde and salsa rojo have plenty of flavor and punch. We willdefinitely be coming back here, no doubt. Read more
