One word to describe our experience at Wild Eggs is, "wow!" Thanks to the incredible service of Morgan, Chris, and our waiter,... Lisa. They were able to serve our large party without any hiccups, and with 1st class service may I add. The quality of the foodwas a 10, the quality of our service was a 20 out of 10. We look forward to going back thanks to the incredible people that workat this particular location. Thank you ???????? Read more

This is a go to restaurant for our family. The food and service are always great. We have never had any issues during any of our... visits. Previously, you would need to get to the restaurant super early to get seated without a wait. However, recently theyhave added an online reservation system which I appreciate. I have tried multiple things on the menu (Biscuits & Gravy, CrabbyPatty Bennie, Kalamity Katie’s Border Benedict, Kelsey KY Brown, Breakfast Burrito, Farmers Market Skillet, and Potato HeadCasserole) and they were all good. However, I would have to say that my favorites would be Potato Head Casserole, Kelsey KYBrown, and Biscuits & Gravy. My husband always gets the Buffalo Chicken Omelet. Read more

This has been a go-to spot for a consistently prepared breakfast over the past fours years. (Over 75 visits / 4 years) There has... been a notable change in the taste and preparation. May be due to labor and turnover? Started with shrimp not being fresh andhaving noticeable aftertaste. They did remove the Creole omelet (shrimp) for a while and brought it back now as a special. Nomore aftertaste. :) Over the last 10 visits there has been many inconsistencies with the cook in the eggs, becoming more“rubbery”, over cooked and/or not beaten enough. Today will be one of my last visits, sadly, I received the no-no of allfoodies. Severely burned food, and received a re-fire (another dish) with the same results from a sweet and apologetic waitress.I challenge this establishment to come up with “standard operating procedure” with pictures for each dish for the kitchenstaff. This place has a good flow of regular patrons and I hope they have the energy to come back to their full taste andpreparation glory. Read more

There didn't seem to be a set hostess during the time I was there, so walking in and knowing what to do was a little awkward.... Finally, someone came to the front and led me to a table. The waitress was nice and helpful. One of the things I really likehere is that they bring the coffee in a larger pitcher to pour your own refills. Their menu has many options. There is somethingfor everyone! You can really tell that their products are fresh! I had the surfer girl. It was a nice and beautiful omelet. WhenI took the first bite, I was a little disappointed as the flavor just..... wasn't there. Even just a little more salt whilecooking probably would have helped that first bite! I am leaving a 4 star because in combination this is a good place! I justneeded a little more in the taste department. Read more

Food Fun Adventure Weekend took Fat Man Reviews to Wild Eggs in Lexington, KY. Wild Eggs is a small chain of breakfast, brunch... and lunch restaurants available in the Lexington, Louisville, Cincinnati and Indianapolis areas. I started with a BluegrassSunrise made with Buffalo Trace, cranberry juice and lemonade. The drink was not bad, and it was refreshing, but I would haveliked more lemonade than cranberry juice. The bourbon was really hidden, so it could sneak up on you. My fiancé tried theBreakfast Burrito served with home fries and black beans, and a side pancake. The burrito is made with a flour tortilla, scrambled eggs, chorizo, cheddar jack cheese, poblano peppers, onions and topped with queso, sour cream, pico, avocado and greenonions. The burrito was working it with the ingredients. Everything was cooked and seasoned well, not spicy, and it just meltedin your mouth. The fries were seasoned well, super crispy yet still pillowy in the middle. The black beans were cooked in bacon, and it stood out in the first of the bite. Personally, just add the salsa Verde, and it would be perfect. The pancake wasfantastic but a little under done in the middle, but she said that worked for her. I had the Mexico City Chilaquiles. The dishis made with corn tortillas, beans, salsa Verde, queso Blanco, over easy egg(ordered your way), chorizo (or chicken) and isserved with home fries and shot of jugo de limón y chile, which is fresh lemon and lime juice and chili powder. I pour the shoton the dish, and it added a nice acid punch. The chorizo was cooked and seasoned well, the tortillas were fresh, the beans addedan almost creamy texture to the bite. It was spicy and flavorful. I order my egg over easy, but it was touch overcooked, so Idid not get that yolky mix to counter the spicy and acid. It could have used a touch more cheese. The fries again we'regreat. Wild Eggs offers several breakfast favorites, omelettes, sandwiches, salads, mixed drinks and meal creation Read more

This is a small regional chain, but the food really tasted like it was its own local restaurant. Everything was well prepared,... the portion sizes were generous, and everybody enjoyed their dishes. Read more
