Crab legs smelled off visible green substance on them. Lobster was tuff. I didn't even try the boiled shrimp. The ribeye my... wife had was also questionable, smelled and tasted off. Good meal. Friendly staff. The meals are large. We had the wings, steak and grilled fish all which were very good. Dessert was... large and I could have done without it! Keylime pie was good but I found the chocolate cake dry and heavy. Would good back forthe food as it was good. Read more
Absolutely the best food and kind service of nearly any restaurant!! My son got the crayfish and shrimp bucket. It was a LOT of... food, plus two sides. My husband got a HUGE dish of shrimp and grits that were incredibly flavorful. There was enough for twomeals. I got the scallops with a salad and okra. So good!! The salad was so fresh and a good size as well. We got Chesapeakeoysters and fried banana rings for appetizers and it was more than enough for three of us to share. We look forward to visitingagain next time we are in Lexington!! Read more
Great seafood restaurant! You can always tell by the parking lot if the place is going to be good and this place was great!! It... was packed when we got there but we were quickly seated. We started off with the peel and eat shrimp(cold) and the Mrs. had thefried fish with fried okra while I enjoyed the fish and chips! The other couple with us had the Shrimp and Grits and theblackened fish tacos!! Everyone throughly enjoyed their meals! All I can say is WOW. Best seafood I've had since I lived in Florida. She had the grilled Oysters and the Oyster Rockefeller... and coleslaw. I had the Shrimp and Scallop Rockefeller Linguini, calamari, anda salad. The grilled oysters were so good, wegot another order before we left. Five stars for sure and we will definitely be back! Fantastic meal. Nice local seafood spot that has been a staple since I was a kid. The staff was kind and accommodating. We... ordered Calamari & fresh Oysters for appetizers. For dinner I ordered the Andouille Crawfish & Shrimp Bucket. Others at thetable ordered Crabcakes, Rainbow Trout, & Voodoo Casserole. The food came out quickly and it was hot, well seasoned, anddelicious. The sides were awesome too. I had fried green tomatoes, hush puppies & red beans and rice. Slightly pricey, but wellworth it.
