I had a great bland steak here. I had the porterhouse and split it with my wife. It is a great option. The quality of meat was... absolutely fantastic, but there was zero seasoning on the steak. Big disappointment, but all of the sides and drinks wereamazing. I just know the cook forgot to season it because of how great everything else was, and it was cooked perfectly(med-rare). It was an anniversary dinner, and was a busy Saturday evening, and I know the steak seasoning just slipped. Still 5stars. Read more

Great food! Split a porterhouse steak (best deal on the menu, IMO) with a buddy. Sides were great, brie cheese app was fire,... great wine and bourbon selection. Highly recommend. Read more

My wife and I had dinner here recently for our anniversary. She had the NY strip and I had the salmon. The food was well... prepared and nice quality. We did notice that food was delicious, a little on the salty side, but it did enhance the flavor. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. We were very pleased with our experience here. Read more

This restaurant is located downtown on Jefferson St. lt is located in a little bungalow style house that has been refurbished... with wood inside - so lovely ambiance, very quaint. The food is delicious. My husband and I split the porterhouse steak entree. We had baked potato, wedge salad, creamed spinach and broccoli for sides. We had two cocktails- the Lexington Lilly and aNegroni. The Lilly was a light fizzy thing served in a martini glass - pretty but not much brain. The Negroni was fantastic-smooth and full of flavor. Overall, a lovely experience. However we paid for it. Expect $50-100 per person depending on numberof courses and drinks your party chooses. Read more

Nice meal, but service wasn’t optimal. It was so nice outside, we sat on the patio. Not crowded at all, but server seemed... harried, and preoccupied with other tables. Drinks finally came, and we were promised bread, but it didn’t come until themain courses arrived. We heard “it’s in the oven” twice, more than 30 minutes apart. Food was excellent, but service wasa detraction. For the price, you expect better. We’ll probably return and try again, but it might be a while. Read more

One of the best steaks I’ve had in Lexington - cooked to temperature, seasoned well, and a very reasonable price point. Very... good cocktails and seasonal menu items. Our server, Tom, was also great. Sad it took so long to make it to Blue Heron but willdefinitely be back! Read more
