It's been some time since my last visit and I have enjoyed the food in the past. I was disappointed this time. The crust was... hard and a bit over baked. I could not cut it with the knife provided. I resorted to eating it "American style." Also, theoriginal salad whivh I've enjoyed in the past,was swimming in dressing. I'll be requesting the dressing on the side if I visitagain. Food and customer service was Amazing. I called my order in and when I arrived my order was ready.

Large portion of lasagna that was hot and delicious. Pizza made in a brick oven, excellent crust.

Just finished an amazing meal at Smashing Tomato!! Both the greeting we received when we stepped through the door and the... farewell as we left was friendly and sincere. Now for the food. We had a calzone that was big enough to feed at least 2 veryhungry people and stuffed with the most delicious meats and cheeses. We also ordered a pizza called ?The Cheesy Dream,? and ohmy, was it delicious. It had a garlic butter sauce and was covered with a variety of cheeses. Smashing Tomato was great as always. The staff were friendly, the ordering was quick and we didn't have to wait long for our... pizza. In fact, they brought it to the table. The pizza tasted great and what I liked most was when I paid, the credit cardreader remembered my number and that I had enough points to redeem for a discount. This is my daughter's go-to pizza restaurant.And I recommend it over all the others. Read more

I drive between Illinois and North Carolina a lot for school and always stop in Lexington. This was by far the best road trip... lunch I?ve had. Pizza has an excellent crust and toppings are very fresh. It?s very affordable, too! The lunch special was about7.50. I will be back! Read more
