What the fudge... did I just spend my money on? Our first time ordering at this place we were feeding 7 people and spent $90ish... on some wings, sides, and a pie. Yeah, we are all sick to our stomachs and taking turns running back and forth to the bathroom.This place must have no standards for food preparation and handling. Also, when you go there you really feel like you're in theghetto. There was a worker who was sitting down rolling his eyes in the back of his head like he was coming down off a massivehigh, or worse... having a medical emergency and no one cared. I had my doubts about the food as soon as we pulled up, but myhusband convinced me to be open minded. It wouldn't surprise me if they cook around bugs and mice. Today was the worst for Grimes. I sat in the drive thru over 5 mins while the crew stood eating. My chicken was not completely... breaded, the crispy outside is the best part. Very disappointed today. I am a big fan of Grimes. My go to 1-2 times a week. Read more
Love the food here but customer service is a whole other deal. They have extremely mediocre staff working here. I got there... nobody attended to anybody for like 5 minutes to begin with. Then they took two people ahead of me even though I raised my handand I said something no one even bothered to concede. Finally I had to really speak up and they just looked at me with the blankstare. They charge me $14 for food that would have cost $10 and they just made up stuff telling me why it cost $14. If you are ever looking for a small local favorite that is decently priced and you get amazing food, this is one of those gems.... They have so many sides to choose from. My only advice is skip the mashed potatoes and opt for something else you can't usuallyget- like fried green tomatoes, corn on the cob, Mac and cheese... I had a hard time choosing. Read more

Saw some good reviews for here and made a point to try the food. When we pulled up saw a few people leaving out of the front... door with bags of food and thought although the dining room was closed I could go in and take my time looking at the menu so Icould order after seeing the menu thoroughly. As soon as I walked in I was told quite sternly that I had to go through the Drivethru only. I got back in the car and pulled into the Drive thru and then had to quickly order because we had someone behind usright away. I ordered the Spicy Chicken meal combo and my wife got the Regular Chicken combo both came with Biscuits and potatowedges. Went to the window to pick up the food and again the server was very stern and very impatient. This is the only criticalthing I can say about the restaurant because the food was solid. I finally had an opportunity to try this place out for the first time. The customer service was outstanding. Not only that the... quality of the food was amazingly great. I encourage anyone who has the opportunity to go here to eat fried chicken. I have toadmit that their chicken was even better than K.F.C. So from now on this will be my only choice for when I want to eat someawesome tasty fried chicken. Plus they also have a large selection of dinners to choose from. Read more
