Reviews for Planet Thai in Lexington, KY
Love it. So good at a good spice level Drunken noodles and chicken broccoli ????
We have been coming here for years and always have a great experience! Tonight, we celebrated a birthday with our family. They... easily accommodated 8 of us. Service was great, always filling our drinks and making sure we were okay. Food was hot and fresh!Medium spice was not too spicy. I only took 3 photos of Drunken Noodles, Spicy Eggplant and Thai Basil with Tofu. Everyone elsehad different curries. Everyone loved their dishes! Read more
Just went for the first time and will definitely go back. My girlfriend had drunken noodles and I had something I couldn't... pronounce but was super delicious with noodles, chicken and lettuce. The gyoza & egg rolls are an amazing appetizer as well. Super friendly staff and can't wait to go back. Very affordable prices. Read more

Large portion sizes. Food taste was average service was good
I was very intrigued to try this Thai place because of other reviews saying it was good. I was sadly disappointed. First off... they were either under staffed or could not keep track of which guests had arrived before others. We were seated quickly but ourorder was not taken for almost 15mins. Our order took almost 30mins later to arrive at our table. The place was not full orbusy. We ordered Spring Rolls which per the menu we would get 5, when they arrived, we got 3. They were egg rolls (fried), notspring rolls (fresh). We mentioned this to the waitress, and she stated that the restaurant didn't get spring rolls, this waswhat they had. No apologies or any normal courtesy of a messed up order. How about if someone orders something and you don'thave it, say so; then I could order something else. Don't bring me a different dish and call it good. We also ordered PanangCurry and Drunken Noodles both should have been fairly spicy, they were barely spiced at all. Sadly, the curry was super wateryand didn't coat the veggies or chicken at all. The drunken noodles were mostly noodles and they were not the right kind of widenoodles either. Wholly a not good experience, I would not recommend this place. Move along to some where better, with courteouswait staff and better food. Read more
First time eating there. Appetizers were good. The Pad Thai was very good with the green onions and peanuts. Chicken in it was... tender. Plum sauce was awesome drizzled over it with the lime wedge. Rice, vegetable and chicken dish was smokey and flavorful.Definitely will return. Read more
I normally love Planet Thai, but not tonight. First of all, they deserve kudos because I have been going there for years and... tonight I had my first issue with my meal. That?s a damn good track record! However, I ordered it spice level 5, very spicy, andit?s very bland and I am not seeing any red pepper flakes. I called to complain and they made no offer to make it right or giveme partial credit even though I made it quite clear I was very unhappy. I don?t like that. It?s not like I have made a habit ofcomplaining. This is the first time. Do better, Planet Thai. Read more
