Reviews for Palmers Fresh Grill in Lexington, KY
The food was great and the service was good. The shrimp and grits are OK, the gouda in the grits tasted strange on its own but... when combined with the sauce and shrimp it was good. The chicken and mushrooms dish was very good. My son is a very picky eaterbut he loved the fettuccine Alfredo. Overall nice experience. Read more
Stopped in for brunch a weekend ago. Out of this world service and food! Will be back to enjoy more bottomless mimosas.
Perhaps the best place to get breakfast, lunch and dinner in Lexington! While staying locally we ate here three times given... it’s phenomenal location, the exceptional views of the bar located on the pond and of course the incredible food. The food,no matter the meal, is always fresh, presented exceptionally well and always tasted great. We were very impressed with the cleanrestaurant, restrooms and dining area. This is a must stop if you are in Lexington! Read more
Great first time at Palmers, both my husband and I got seafood. I’ll definitely go back for the atmosphere but more... importantly, the food! It was all tasty but did not blow our socks off especially in my husbands opinion. Service was great! Read more
My wife and I stopped in after seeing this listed on Google Maps. We'd hoped to sit outside at the bar, but it wasn't open.... Either way, the service was excellent, and our dinners were delicious. They also have a wide selection of bourbons. Loved thefried green tomato caprese salad and my ahi tuna steak. We'll definitely stop in again when we're in Lexington. Read more
On a chilly Saturday, Fat Man Reviews ventured to Palmers Fresh Grill in Lexington, KY. Palmers serve New American cuisine and... cocktails, while offering a waterfront patio. I started with the Old Fashioned Breakfast. This is made with Knob Creek SmokedMaple Bourbon, Regan’s Orange Bitters, orange peel and candied bacon. The maple is present throughout, the bacon was crispyand the grease adds to the flavor. The ice was embellished with a P for flair. My fiancé tried the Sangria, this was made withWhite Peach and Red Strawberry wine. The drink had a great fruity smell but was overall watery. I decided to try the Black &Bleu burger with truffle fries. This is made with blackened spices, bleu cheese, caramelized onions, brioche bun, lettuce andtomato. I ordered the burger medium, but it was closer to well, but it was still juicy and seasoned well. The bun and tomatowere fresh, but the onions were more sautéed than caramelized. The blue cheese was salty and helped to cut through theblackened burger. The fries were out of a bag and cooked well, but they were not the truffle fries, instead they were the bistrofries. The house smoked ketchup was pretty good but a little sweet. I also tried the Palmers Corn & Clam Chowder. This is madewith clams, corn and red peppers. The broth was light and buttery, the vegetables were cooked well with a slight crunch fortexture. The clams were a little over done and slightly chewy. The flavor was nice in this soup. My fiancé tried the CodSliders and bistro fries. This is made with fried cod, house made tarter sauce on a bun. The sandwiches were fried well, and thebuns were soft and fresh. The tartar sauce was tangy and just the right touch. Palmers have several dishes including a lot offresh seafood, and they offer brunch, lunch and dinner. The waterfront view offers a great patio space and there are bands thatperform in the summer. They have a full bar and the staff was very pleasant. The Fat Man says that Palmers Fre Read more
Staff was very attentive and our server took the time to check any market price we asked for. Delicious food, great service!!
Love Palmers. This review is overdue. It was one of the first places I tried when moving to Lexington, and I continue to enjoy... dinning there. The value for quality is spot on. I love seafood, and there's lots of good options for seafood at palmers. Insummer, the patio seating is nice - have have a pond where you can watch the ducks/swans swim around. I like the Tuna dish as mymain favorite - the Wasabi mashed potatoes are unique. They can get busy on weekends, so reservations are a good idea. Read more
