Service was good, but food was not. I rarely rate a restaurant poorly, but when avocados are part of the name of your entree,... you expect them to be good. The avocados on my salad were brown. I picked as many out as I could, and put them on a sideplate. I ate maybe half of the salad because I was very hungry. I couldn’t finish it- not for size, but it was terrible. Idon’t like to complain, and server didn’t ask when much of my salad was left, brown avocados picked out, and I startedeating my husband’s pizza- which was mostly bread. Boneless wings were small nuggets, and the celery that came with it wascurled, limp and yellow. 2 starts only because the server was nice and mostly attentive. Read more
Old Chicago used to be one of our favorites to eat. However the past two times we have not been impressed with the food or... service. Today I did take - out. I placed an order for a large build you own (found out the Hawaiian pizza is no longer anoption) and 1 medium pepperoni and 1 medium cheese only to find out this cost me $63 dollars when she brought it out to me. Iwas so shocked. I’m sorry but $29 for a large pizza is absurd. I wished I had opened the boxes before I left but was in ahurry to pick my son up from camp. We live 30 minutes away from the restaurant so I was disappointed when I opened the boxes.Pizza burnt (cheese and crust), not much cheese and barely cut into slices. The atmosphere was pretty chill and quiet (I was there at 2pm) The food was actually pretty good! The Mac n cheese was great! As... was the pizza! But it felt like we waited forever for it to arrive was my only complaint. Plenty of drink selections too! Read more
We happened to be in Lexington and decided to stop in. Service was fast and our server checked on us often. The food was good... and my husband and I enjoyed watching the big screen TVs. They had a little bit of everything on each TV. Good experience. Read more

I wish they had more staff... This is an example where being under staffed turns your business into a train wreck. I was... figuring I would have some good Italian food on my way home from Tennessee but that was not to be the case. I walked in andthere was no hostess at the hostess stand so I stood their for 10 minutes waiting for her to show up. There were other folkstheir that were told 20 minutes that were complaining that it had been 40 minutes. The hostess was very nice and took my nameand number so I waited 10 minutes and decided to go sit at the bar. The bar was really the only part of the restaurant thatseemed like it was running smoothly. I order a Caesar salad and lasagna which it took like 20 minutes for it to come out andthe salad came out 5 minutes AFTER the lasagna. The lasagna was COLD in the center but was tasted good. The salad had verylittle dressing so it was dry. Although, the bartender was clearly overwhelmed, he did a nice job of trying to save thisexperience.
