When did Mr. Kabab's become gross? We have loved it for years but the last two times I have been here I was sooooo disappointed.... Today, I picked up a gyro to go. These used to be amazing with thinly sliced meat, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a homemade tazakisauce. Now, it is just large chucks of pretty gross meat on a pita. No vegetables. A watery sauce that doesn't taste like much.Plus, the price for this -- just a gyro -- went up to $10.99! I couldn't even eat it because it was so yucky. Read more
Delish! Authentic Greek with large portions. Warm, friendly staff. Had the gyro lunch and a Greek salad over a bed of... lettuce. Will be back. Read more
Absolutely amazing. This is hands down the best food I have ever eaten. The portions are huge, the food is cooked perfectly, and... the people are so amazingly sweet and friendly. 10/10 would absolutely recommend. Make sure you get some tea when you are done. Read more
I had been a fan of Mr. Kabab for a while, both in terms of quality and quantity. However, I was disappointed by both the taste... and quantity in my recent visit. Regardless, this restaurant is a good option for people looking for halal options. Read more
Excellent place! The lamb gyro and Sharma were out of this world! We haven't had a dull item yet. We keep trying different items... each time. My wife is in love with the yellow rice. Not sure the name of it, but it is good! Couldn't recommend them highlyenough. Read more

My husband and I have been here twice and whenever we crave Mediterranean style chicken over rice, we?ll be back. When we moved... to Lexington, we were looking for something to replace our halal cart chicken over rice. Although, this is not exactly likethat, it is still delicious in its own unique way. We like that the yellow rice is on the saucier side and we love the picklesand onions topping on the entree. Chicken was flavorful but just a smidge dry. The portions are huge. I don?t know if the ownership changed or something else happened to this place!? This place used to the best middle eastern... restaurant in Lexington. But the last two times we have been utterly disappointed. Today, I ordered a shawarma platter andanother order of chicken with rice. Both came with sides of hummus. The hummus is rotten. At this point, I?m surprised why noone has sued them for selling hummus that literally stinks. I had to scoop it out the carry out box. Not sure if the remaininggood is edible. Last time I called and told them about the bad food quality and hoped it would get fixed but this time it waseven worse!? Read more
