Lussi Brown?s is one of the most unique coffee shops in Lexington? they put time and attention in everything they do and this is... evident when tasting and experiencing all they have to offer. As a regular I can attest that their staff is kind and welcomingalways and the quality of their product is consistent! They also have fun events, house made syrups for sale, and local artdisplayed and purchasable. 10/10 recommend Read more

Nice shop, cool staff. Probably not the best for studying, small space. Hours are a little odd as well.

This place has some amazing drinks. I ordered the old fashioned (made with cold brew) and it was one of my favorite cocktails I... have ever had. The balance of the coffee and whiskey was perfect and I can?t wait to try other drinks on the menu! Staff wassuper friendly and helpful and the outdoor seating was perfect for a chill afternoon. I moved to Lexington, Kentucky from the Dallas area in Texas and finding a new local coffee spot felt important to me. I\'ve... been to several coffee shops since my husband and I moved, but I can say without a doubt that Lussi Brown Coffee Bar is myfavorite coffee shop to stop in. It has a wonderful, inclusive atmosphere, the staff is always friendly and helpful withrecommendations, and depending on what I\'m in the mood for, I can order a boozy or regular coffee. 10/10 would recommend. Itell all my Texas friends to come here when they visit. ?? Read more

Love the atmosphere and drinks here. Awesome coffee shop with great vibes. I ordered the Bees Knees(iced) and it was packed with... flavor. Also highly recommend the Golden Waffle. It was so yummy. Husband ordered green tea and it was delicious.\n21+ due toalcohol being served if you sit inside. Plenty of signs posted to give that info and please be prepared to show it to the nicepeople. So my fiance and I spent some time trying to find a local coffee shop that we can support for a morning coffee today. We chose... Lussi Brown because it looked like a nice spot to relax and they had good reviews. We brought along our 4 month old baby. Uponarrival we ordered 2 drinks and a pastry. I took our baby back to get a seat. My fiance stayed to get the drinks. One of thestaff members, which looks like one of the owners, said \"you, and the baby have to leave.\" They were getting ready to openthe bar. We understand if we have to leave, but please be nice and don\'t be rude to your customers. Or perhaps, think about howyour words and expressions can affect others. Having a bad day is understandable. We are both nurses. And we get it. But, maybea smile, or something?? We did not see the sign out front. I am sorry if you were having a bad day, but I think customer serviceshould be much better. Plus to top it off, our order was wrong. I specified that I would like a vanilla latte with whole milk. The barrista verified that with us but some how I got one made with oat milk, which I did not want, or like. So I paid for anorder that was wrong and was asked to leave in a very short, rude manner. I obviously will not be back, nor will I recommendLussi Brown to any of our friends and family. Read more

This is a neat little place on a street all of it\'s own so depending on the time of day parking can be an issue. When my... daughter and I walked in it has a cool first impression although very tight front of house. We ordered a Cold Chai Tea Latte anda Cafe Au Lait. The only questions we were asked was whether we wanted whole milk or something else and whether we were going tosit down. When we stated we would sit down we were asked if my daughter was 21 (she is 18) and was told she couldn\'t sitinside. (2:30p). This is because they serve Hard Liquors of which is a neat perk to the shop but also a bit unfriendly to anyoneunder 21. The team there wasn\'t exactly unfriendly but not exactly friendly either with no small talk even though we were theonly ones at the front of the house. It does have some neat spaces as you navigate to the back as well (I had to walk back thereon my own). The drinks were okay but nothing Fantastic not sure what kind of coffee is used but it isn\'t my favorite.\nI cansee that this can be a cool place to grab and after drink while downtown although they close at 8p so you can\'t be too late. Iam a coffee guy not a Hard Liquor one so that\'s what my rating is tied to. This could be a good fit for others Read more
