Got back to the hotel late, took a chance and ordered from donatos instead of a big name and omg. Fantastic experience.... Delivered quick, hot, and it was one of the best pizza and cheese breads we may have ever had. Wish they were up north! Read more
The side salad was impressive with crisp veggies and a generous amount of pepperoni, banana peppers, and cheese. The pizza was... served in a timely manner and was hot and fresh! First time here for a just-passing-through trip and we'll worth the choice tostop! Read more
The lady at the register has no clue how to ring up meals. I told her I wanted a kids meal for my child and she said no one ever... gets those so instead of charging me for the kids meal price for a small individual pizza with a fountain drink for $5.99, shecharged me $6.98 for an individual pizza and $2.49 for a fountain drink. Oh, and she informed me that the prices on their menuare not correct. I said they need to get new menus then. So, she overcharged me for a drink at least I thought. I brought it toher attention. She got the manager and despite the fountain drink price of $2.49, they only adjusted the price by $1.49. Iwanted to set them straight but was with a lot of people. They need to educate personnel to run the register appropriately. Themanager needs to also check things clearly instead of brushing the customer off. Read more
The pizza dough is frozen. When they are busy or later in the evening if they didn't get out enough dough to thaw normally,... instead of "selling out" they try to microwave thaw the dough and it doesn't rise and these pizzas tastes terrible. If you areable to get one of their good pizzas, those are absolutely delicious...but you won't know which one you got untill you get it. Read more
I haven't had Donatos in over 2 years. I'm in Lexington for work and saw a donatos close. I decided to place a take out order.... My expectation from Donatos was to at least have cheese on each piece of pizza. Maybe Ohio Donatos is different from KentuckyDonatos. I took the pizza back inside and asked if this was how the pizza was supposed to look and the employee said the cheesepulls from the edges and this was normal. When I lived in Ohio I had Donatos often and there was cheese throughout the pizza.Waste of $15.00 and the pizza was not flavorful. Read more
Everytime I?ve ordered from this place it?s been a nightmare, now I get a call that they can?t take cash cause they have to go... thru DoorDash, if I had a debit or credit card I would have just ordered THRU DOORDASH! donatos used to be my favorite place toorder from and it?s just not the same food wise and you can?t get good service at all.
