wonderful experience. food was excellent, company was stellar, and the ambience was to die for. the wait staff is not very... skilled at pouring water but i think that that’s a training issue. the grilled pesto salad was lovely and the little sliver ofspicy chicken i had was excellent. we got put in the corner by the kitchen and that was kinda distracting but if you love peoplewatching you would have ate it up. good spot Read more

Been wanting to eat here for ages as it was always busy with people outside, enjoying themselves and drinking wine!! Finally ate... here and wow, it didn't disappoint. We had an amazing helpful server who knew the menu like that back of their hand. Gave greatsuggestions on everything! Ended up going with the pork rigatoni. I'm not a huge fan of spice (they did offer to add more creamto tone down which I thought was really thoughtful) but I definitely just to brave the heat! It was spicy, but so so deliciousit was totally worth the pain (I'm an absolute baby when it comes to spice, you will probably adore it like my husband did!!)Beautiful place for a meal, wonderful friendly service and incredible food. Really yummy dinner tonight! The Pasta Bolognese was fabulous. The Roast chicken was tasty but breast piece was a little dry.... But the BRUSSELS SPROUTS! Amazing… tried the Bourbon peach cocktail - soo good. Walnut tort was very like pecan pie but alittle less sweet - really wonderful dinner. Highly recommend. Read more

This is my second time mother and children date dinner there, this time, with my youngest son who just finished his first year... in college. He got a cafe burger and I got a Portabella mushroom burger. My son ordered a side salad and it was beautiful andtasty. I ordered Italian Soda in peach flavor and it had the just right sweetness. We both loved our dish and loved theirpresentation as well. We had a walnut torte because I love any nut related desert. The atmosphere is always pleasant and it ischic there. Loved jazz music flowing through and miss Holly was our server and she was awesome. When online reservation saysthere is no table, try calling them. That's how I got my table; I tried to make a reservation online only to be "rejected" butwhen I called, Jonathan told me they had 2 tables. I am glad they turn the old bakery into this restaurant. Their price is nottoo cheap but not too expensive. For us, it was perfect for a nice little treat. Thank you. P.S. my pics were an afterthoughtafter taking a bite or two. Their food presentation is beautiful and the bun was never torn like that. Please don't blame thechef. ???? Read more

I had a great time at Bella Cafe! The interior is very well decorated and makes the small space seem very large. And the food is... delicious! I highly recommend the Brussels sprouts - they’re the best Brussels sprouts I’ve ever had! My main dish was thebolognese. Read more

Met some friends in Lexington for the weekend. Me from NKY and them from CA. We met up at Bella Cafe for lunch as it had... received good reviews. Such a cool place with a very comfortable, relaxing vibe. It wasn't terribly busy which was nice. I hadthe Buttermilk Chicken with fries. Best. Chicken Fingers. Ever. Fries were amazing as well. Server was attentive. Willdefinitely be back! Read more
