Wow! What a fantastic place serving excellent food with great service. We enjoyed the rack of pork and the bone in ribeye. It?s... located in a small town outside of Bloomington but worth the trip. Music was a tad loud, but I loved the tunes. Read more

This is THE place! We went to celebrate our anniversary and had one of the best nights out in a while. Chef John was wonderful!... We had the chef's tasting which was 3 courses. I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful it all was. The sorbet was one of thebest I've had, and I don't normally like dessert! Very refreshing. Overall a wonderful evening. Thank you to all the friendlystaff for taking great care of us. Read more

Had a lovely dinner at the Lexington Social for the first time recently and couldn't have been happier with the experience. The... drinks menu is extensive and wonderful, the food was delicious, and I loved the atmosphere and decor. Well worth the trip ifyou're traveling from Bloomington-Normal or elsewhere. My only gentle suggestion is to consider lowering the music volume. Itmade it difficult to carry on a conversation and I was a little hoarse by the end of the night. Read more

Just an amazing experience. My wife took me to the Lexington Social for my birthday. I am a huge fan of raw oysters and cooked... mussels, having grew up in Boston and traveling all over the world. I can honestly say that the cooked muscles I had at theLexington Social were the best I have ever had in my life. They were so juicy, fresh and tender. The broth was simplymagnificent; we went through three orders of bread to sop it up. So so good. As for the oysters, they were out of this world.Fresh as a daisy. The pollock main dish was so good that I debated ordering a second course to take home. The night was simplymagical; one of the best birthday dinners ever. Well done Lexington Social! Read more

If you?re looking for an unique dining experience, look no further! Lexington Social combines high-quality ingredients,... talented staff, and a retro, post-modern environment wrapped up in a menu that changes often, and isn?t overwhelming...all insmall town USA. It includes an intimate, yet spacious dining room that allows private conversations to be had at the tablewithout feeling too close to other customers, and well designed in terms of the layout. The drink menu has an unique selectionof beers, wines, and cocktails that also cater to a variety of interests and taste buds. The menu contains dishes, that whileunique and likely using ingredients/food you are not likely to experience anywhere in a 60+ mile radius, is diverse enough for avariety of tastes. The desserts, all prepared homemade by the chef/owner?s mother is filled with powerful flavors that willsatisfy anyone who is looking to satisfy a sweet tooth after a meal. The servers were well disciplined, attentive, andcourteous. Their small-talk at the table was appropriate and catering to the needs of those in attendance. The chef and owner, made it a priority when having some down time in the kitchen to make an appearance on the floor welcoming people and askingabout their experience; a friendly and nice touch for the patrons. The restaurant itself was clean, appeared organized, and theseating was firm, yet comfortable. Pricing will likely be perceived on the high-end, but not inappropriate for the quality offood, service, and experience that you will receive, and certainly not as expensive as a similar experience in a bigger city. Aperfect place to celebrate a special occasion, date night, or just to experience something new, while supporting local businessand likely local farmers. You won?t be disappointed with the experience unless you?re expecting food items that you can oftenget at mainstream restaurants or are wanting a ?budget meal.? I highly recommend it, especially if you?re a f Read more

A very nice place. It reminded me of some restaurants in New Orleans that are in old houses. For dinner, I had the half grilled... chicken, which was done very well. I followed with a cake made with dark chocolate. It was also very good and actually quitelight. Since their menu changes seasonality, I look forward to seeing what is next. Read more
