I ordered 2- 20 oz espresso smoothies before 11 am. She asked if I wanted to upsize for $1, I said ?no, but I?m a member... anyhow?. I wasn?t sure if the $5 coffee special and the upsize can combine. Super fast. Went today. Ordered y smoothie while in route. Was at the location in 5 minutes and it was already on the counter.
Although my day hasn?t been the best anyway, I decided to get a smoothie to brighten it up. I get the same thing every time from... now pretty much this same store-20 oz angel food and wanted to use a reward. Scans and thought the price was close but washanded a kids drink? I said what is this? ?It?s a 12 oz, you ordered it.? ?No I get the same thing every time.? Now the managerwalks over and says ?no you said 12 I heard it.? To which I said ? I didn?t even know you could get a 12 oz so how is itpossible? It?s not on the menu by the normal smoothies? ?sir, you ordered that and we can do a 20 oz.? And said over. It waslike 2 on on. Again they won't take my coupon for a free 20oz smoothie. And that's after I left a bad review, and was contacted by one of the... owners who told me that my coupon would gladly be accepted in her location. The really messed up part is that literally everyother location in the Dallas area has accepted then thus far. On top of all of that, in asked a couple of questions about aflavor I've not tried yet and was ignored completely by the two employees there. In fact they had me repeat everything i saidtwo more times. One was washing the dishes while the other was playing on her phone. I?ve been coming to this Smoothie King for a year now. As a huge fan of the smoothies served at many different locations, I... would have to say this location is my favorite! The owner took notice of my frequent visits and unique order. She made it apoint to explain to the staff on my particular smoothie. That gesture is one of many things I?ve observed since coming. This is definitely one of the best Smoothie King locations! My husband and I goes nearly every single day because of how awesome... the staff is and how consistent the smoothies are! Unfortunately no matter how many times I've given the lady at this location a try the smoothies I get there tastes aweful. I get... the gladiator chocolate smoothie at every Smoothie King with the same ingredients, but every time I go here all I get no hint ofsweetness from the dates nor the creaminess of the chocolate. I'm not sure how she makes it, but I don't really care for it. Notworth the price at all in my opinion. I will have to go to a different location from here on out. Read more
