If this had been my first time eating at Rockfish I probably would have rated it 2-3 stars. However, I know that the food here... is pretty decent, I just didn't like what we ordered this time. Top notch service. Enjoyed the calamari and fried okra, would recommend bringing aioli sauce with this as well as the marinara.... Shrimp tacos phenomenal as well as the chicken tenders. In my opinion the hush pop puppies were ok, I prefer mine to be crispyin the outside and light and airy in the inside with no corn. Amount of food per cost is great. We enjoyed lunch at Rockfish Seafood & Grill on 8/30/2019 and ordered Herb Crusted Chicken for myself and Grilled Catfish and... Shrimp with Fries and Slaw for my husband. I discovered while reviewing the menu that you can substitute any fish dish withchicken which is awesome because I have a hard time eating fish which makes this a nice lunch or dinner date with the Honey typeplace, so we are both happy. I also had a Mimosa which was a nice way to start my weekend! Food: The food was delicious. We boththought our meals were light and so fresh it tasted like they may have just put the coleslaw together right out of a garden! TheHerb Crusted Chicken came on a bed of herbed orzo pasta in a creamy lemon butter sauce with small chunks of tomatoes and freshspinach, making my mouth water just thinking about it, was also served with fresh crisp but just done enough broccoli. Yes, yum,may need to go for lunch again now. Accessibility and ambiance: We sat near the bar in a booth but there are also tables if youprefer. The bar had two TVs both playing sports when we arrived. There is also a patio if you prefer to sit outdoors and enjoythe breeze. The bathrooms were very clean and smelled like they had recently been clean. There is also a family restroom foryour convenience. There was no need for wheelchair ramps as there are no steps. The dining area and bar were clean and had thefurnishings as if you were at the ocean and enjoy your catch near the pier. Cost: We spent $44 for Lunch for 2 with a Mimosa anda Beer along with 2 waters however we ordered from the Dinner menu rather than the lunch menu. They do offer a lunch menu Monday? Friday from 11am ? 4pm with $10 and under choices. Tips: You can substitute fish with chicken on any dish. Brunch is served OnSaturday and Sunday 10am ? 3pm.
