Dined at Iron River Grill for the first time last weekend. It was fantastic. My meal was 8oz filet, it was absolutely delicious.... My wife had the cheesesteak sub, she said it was also delicious, they use real shaved steak. Would recommend. Read more

Our first experience with take out. We should've read the reviews. Hopefully dine in is better. A week later........ We tried... takeout again today. Never give up on a local restaurant. Good presentation, missing items and lacking for the price. Disclaimer - order was delivered by Doordash. We ordered two... Italian subs, two orders or pretzel bites, Cuban with seasoned tots, chili, and a kids grilled cheese with tots. Foodunfortunately was delivered cold. This could be a driver issue with Doordash or could have been cold before pickup. Order waspicked up at 12:39 delivered 12:56. Because of the time to deliver this was not factored into the review. Italian subs - $10each The house dressing was forgotten on both subs. We also did not get the advertised house-made chips with the order TheItalian subs were priced at $10 and seemed to be a bit lacking for the price. They had an adequate amount of meat and cheese butwere far from what someone would consider "loaded". Pretzel bites - $8 each The pretzel bites were also okay. They were cold,however this could have been from delivery. Extra care could be placed into an attempt to keep them warm (maybe foil instead ofthe paper?). The portion was good and the cheese was also good. The mustard wasn't bad but is not your typical mustard and isvery runny. Cuban and tots - $12 ($2 upgrade for tots) The Cuban was good and the only suggestion was that it was light onmustard (personal preference). The seasoned tots were a bit crispy. Chili - $3 The chili was good. Note that the chili had moreof a sweet flavor rather than a spicy incase your looking for spicy. Grilled cheese and tots - $4 The kids grilled cheese waspretty standard but wasn't bad. Tots were cooked well and were not as crispy as the seasoned ones. Order: 2 Italian Subs 1 Cuban Sandwich 1 Cup of Chili 2 Orders of Pretzel Bites 1 Grilled Cheese Sandwich w/ Tots This was our... first from here for 64.00. I'll start with the good about the sub. The roll was well toasted and had a nice crisp without beinghard. There was plenty of meat and cheese and they were of good quality. The presentation was also well done and not messy.However, one of the subs had a whole onion slice shoved into it and was uncut. One sub also had a thick layer of mayo andneither had any house dressing as advertised. The Cuban was well presented and just needed more mustard. There were someproblems with the hot food. Primarily that it was cold upon delivery. The chili was of sweet variety and tasted well. Thepretzel bites proportion was adequate but with them and the beer cheese being cold they weren't as enjoyable. Hot food beingcold was a shame. Grilled Cheese was for a child. It was your standard grilled cheese. The seasoned tattertots were rathercrispy but the normal ones were just fine. Overall for the cost, the food was mediocre. Read more
