We came in on the 5 star review on Labor Day because not a lot of restaurants were. Understaffed to say the least! If the owners... decide to be open on a holiday then be prepared. Tables weren't bussed, no staff training for new girl and they were all tryingthere best but way to busy. The salad was brown but nachos were great. Wish I could of said that about my steak. Food was okay at best, we sat for 20 mins before even getting asked about our drinks. After we got our drinks the waitress who... was new obviously had a hard time even getting the order. We ordered an app of nachos they were the best thing we ordered. Wetried to understand that understaffed and a holiday it would be slow. However there is never a reason to leave tables unbussedfor over an hour. I feel that this place has had it's day but clearly the lack of managment and training for the new staff istaking it down hill. Wish it would have been better. Read more
Kind of back out off the main drag. But very very good. I would say "maybe even as good if not better than Waffle House or... couple others. I think if more people knew where it is they would look for it as the place to go too . Definitely worth it.Looking forward to going back and trying some lunch and or dinner sometime. Read more
Ordered delivery. They were out of mozzarella sticks, so the receipt showed that they substituted beer-battered shrimp. Because... food allergies can be life-threatening, I was surprised they did not ask us about acceptable substitutions. Still, we didn'teven get that shrimp. Instead, we got a box of bbq buffalo wings. Again, not acceptable, since many in our party are sensitiveto such spice. The meals were bland. Nothing was seasoned properly. The people who ordered burgers had fries completely lackingin salt or pepper. The jalapeno bacon burger had just one tiny strip of bacon and two slices of mild jalapeno The meatloafdinner was just an unseasoned burger patty, and its mashed potatoes tasted like there was no butter, salt, pepper, or anythinglike that added in. Great food and service the restaurant was 50's nostalgic love all the old music also. I had the deli roast beef on marble rye it... was delicious. My wife had the Monte Cristo sandwich with fresh onion rings overall experience was great I give them a 10thanks again for the good food and great service. Read more
Chicken Fried Steak tasted spoiled, tangy like. At first thought they might of used dirty grill or bad oil but my stomach is... cramping now. Such a bummer considering the previous times I had better experiences. Bacon and hasbrowns way overcooked. Sausage gravy tasted like flour and water. Must have new cook??? Read more
Amazing little Cafe. Good food, great service. No matter what you order it's going to be good!
