This is a hidden gem in Leona Texas! Its right off of interstate 45 and you better get there before they run out of the good... stuff. My favorite is a steak sandwich on fresh baked jalapeño cheese bread. The steak juice that comes with it is pure heavenand should almost be classified as a beverage. After you finish drenching your sandwich in it you will start dipping in thepotato chips. After the potato chips you will be searching for something else to dip. No judgment if you just pick it up anddrink it. The chicken salad sandwich and the pimento cheese salad are excellent. They are both so good that they run out prettyquick. The pies and cobblers are like what grandma used to make... Maybe better. Shh don't tell grandma. But perhaps even betterTham their food is their service.
