I got here around 1500 on a Friday. Nicole B. & Lexi had been working since 0700 and were obviously tired from a very busy... morning and large lunch crowd. Regardless, they greeted me with the smiles and friendliness that one expects at any given WaffleHouse. This is a slightly above average waffle house. They had just mopped the floor when we got there for dinner around 7:00 p.m. . We... were the only ones in there when we walked in and were greeted and served our drinks right away. The waitress was friendly andvery talkative. The cook did a great job with our bacon and omelets and country ham steak my only complaint was the hash brownswere slightly overcooked. The service at this location at night is horrible, my sister and I went in late about two weeks ago and she order the cheese... steak melt hash brown bowl and the steak was burn hashbrowns were super hard and my grits was so old they started turning brown.My pork chops were perfect so I just push the grits to the side but my sister couldn't eat her food at all and they refused totake it off the bill. We don't have a problem paying for what we want but to pay for something that you can't eat is ridiculous.I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Read more

We stopped at this Waffle House as we were on our way back home after a couple of days in North Georgia. My mouth was set for... Waffle House. We were not disappointed. Sara was our waitress and she did a great job waiting on us and several tables. I got myfavorite, triple cheese wheat plate with bacon and it did not let me down. The food was served hot and was excellently prepared.My wife got a scrambled egg, bacon, and hash browns. She remarked more than once how good the bacon was. I can always count onWaffle House to deliver good food fast and this location stayed true to that goal. Read more
What's not to love about Waffle House? We're from Michigan, and don't have any Waffle Houses, so any time I'm traveling and can... stop in, I take the opportunity. We have business in Lenoir City that has us traveling here more frequently, and it's right byour hotel. The dine in experience was great a couple weeks ago, and then I got take out the other day, and it was the samefriendly experience. Order was accurate, and food was hot. I have been here twice. It?s clean is when I arrived but neither time have I been able to place an order or be waited on Both... times the only service people was an older woman with a modern haircut and she refused to speak to me or acknowledge I wasstanding there. I don?t know if she is prejudice or what. She is just flat out rude . The longer I waited the more she glared atme without saying anything. I have left both times. This place needs better staff Even the cook was unfriendly and not observant. Read more
