So disappointed in our meal! Spent $40 on cold, tough food. It literally tasted like day old food. Usually my favorite part is... biscuits and they were like hockey pucks. Read more
We eat normally here all the time, but it had been a while until this time. It's a great place to eat! The food is always good... and everyone is always nice! We got there close 5pm and the parking lot was pretty full, but we were seated immediately. We hada new waitress and her name was Lindsey. She was very nice, and she would smile a lot. She took our order quick, we got ourdrinks quick, and our food was ready quick. Everything tasted great! Lindsey always checked on us to see if we needed anythingduring the meal, too. I ordered the Lemon Pepper Rainbow Trout plate with two trout fillets, steak fries, and turnip greens. There was more than enough on our plate to eat, as always. We had our ticket towards the end of our meal and was even able topay quickly. Everything was great! Read more
Food is always good. However if you order to go, check your food and your bag. They don't put in plastic wear nor do they... remember all your food that was ordered. 3 weeks ago I called and ordered a country fried steak dinner no gravy. When I got homethey had scraped off the gravy and turned it over and stuck the other plate on top of it so it wasn't noticeable untill you tookthe lid off to eat it. Today I ordered french toast and they placed my order for pancakes.. The cashier that was training a newgirl up front said that the best way to learn was by doing it wrong. Read more
Lenoir City is a perfect stopping spot if you are traveling to Pigeon Forge from Chattanooga. The best part about stopping at a... Cracker Barrel is the food is consistently good and each location has its own decor of unusual antiques and vintage items, which makes the short wait for food interesting. The front of the restaurant is like a Home Goods with interesting finds indecor and clothes. I tried the French toast for the first time, which was prepared with sourdough bread that had been dipped inbeaten eggs and grilled. I was skeptical that the sourdough would add a tartness to the dish, but it perfectly sets up the realMaple syrup that is served warm in a small bottle. Each bite was heaven. It came with 2 eggs and bacon. The bacon was crisp andhad a mild smoky flavor. If you are ordering this dish, plan to make it a cheat meal as it comes in at a whopping 1,000calories, but so worth it. My husband had the 4-piece fried chicken dinner, and it was hot, crispy and not a drip of greaseanywhere. Read more
This Cracker Barrel location has excellent service and amazing food. Miss Beverly took excellent care of us during our meal and... she was extremely kind and helpful. Even though we were just passing through the area, she made us feel at home! Their OldContry Store has alot of unique and nostalgic souveniers, candy and gift items. I highly recommend stopping by for breakfast. If you love Pancakes, you simply must order a Momma's Pancake Breakfast. Read more
Service was good considering there were 9 of us. My $12.99 pot roast was HORRIBLE!!! It looked bad to begin with, but the... amount of grizzel I cut out amounted to HALF of the pot roast they presented to me. Everything else was good, including theatmosphere. Read more
The food wasn't bad but it diffanlty wasn't the greatest. I don't like the liquid smoke flavor that they add to the foods. All... I've ever ate out of the 3 times that I've ate crackle barrel is their breakfast. They over cooked our food and well scrambleeggs aren't supposed to be a omelet type of eggs. The bacon was a bit crunchy for my liking and the ham tasted like pure smokeand so did the gravy for the biscuits. On the up side the staff was very friendly and polite. Our server stayed on top of ourgroup of 13 and kept making sure she was taking care of anything that we made have needed. The price is a little pricey as ofeverything else these days. But overall we had a pleasant experience for our first time eating here. Read more
