My girlfriend and I love this place. The last time we were there was live music. Margaritas are excellent, I recommend the Baja... margarita. The fluntas are a must. The service is phenomenal. When the weather is nice their patio is the place to be. Read more
I don?t know if I?ve ever received customer service like I did at Rudy?s recently. First off, if you?ve been you know there... isn?t better Mexican food in KC. From the minute we walked in the door Devon took care of us, making sure we could sit at thebar, answering our questions & then coming up with a solution to what we wanted to eat. The food was wonderful ...but what was really exceptional was our server! I accidentally left my credit card on the payment... tray with the receipt. My family hurried off to our cars. Apparently the server tried to catch us before we left but was toolate. The server gave the card to the manager for safekeeping. They had no way of contacting me so they waited for me torealize what I had done and contact them. It's good to feel reassured there are such great people around...and they are workingat Rudy's. From the front door to the back door, I'm impressed! I hope I never lose my credit card again but if I do, I hopeit's at Rudy's! it was amazing!!! the al pastor taco?s and charro beans were great!!if you love real Al pastor tacos you must try these, some... places say it?s al pastor but they don?t have the true seasoning and made with pineapple in the marinate, i would give thisplace 10 ?????????????????????s!!!!! we live alittle over hour away and try to come as much as we can. We have been driving past this place for a while and we decided to try it out. Overall, ok. We ordered the ceviche which was... pretty good. I will recomend trying it if you lare a fish and shrimp lover. I had the Tacos al Pastor. Ehhh, So so. The bestdish was the Rudy's Carnitas. However here is a tip for the customer and a suggestion for the owner: Customer: Make sure you askfor corn tortillas because the dish came with flour tortillas. The style of this Pork and flour tortillas dont pair well. Itslike having white wine when eating steak, Or ceviche with red wine, some foods simply are meant to go hand on hand with corntortillas. The tender pork was AWESOME, for the owner maybe have those chunks of pork cut a bit smaller. If we come back to thisplace this is what we will order again and the ceviche. I would also suggest to advise customers that the refried beans areserved with shredded cheese. As lots of people have dairy allergies its better if you ask the customer if having cheese is ok.
