The resort was nothing like the pictures show! My husband and I live in Ogallala but my mom and dad were here visiting from... Florida. They stayed 5 nights. The 1st morning my mom woke up with a bug bite on her forehead. By the time they left she had 3more bites around her right eye. Her eye was so swollen she ended up having to go to the urgent care and was put on antibioticsand steroids. The stairs leading up to rooms 1-4 were uneven and a couple of wood posts were lifted from the stairs making atripping hazard, especially at night. When she contacted the resort to inform them the guy was very rude to her. And now theresort has blocked her from being able to write a review on their website. I would not suggest staying here! Plus the food InThe restaurant was mediocre at best. Do not recommend staying here. Read more

The photos on the site do not correspond to reality, the TV does not work, the Internet (Wi-Fi) does not work, there is no... parking space, windows with transparent curtains. Sorry, but these are facts. Read more

First, I?d like to start on a positive note? The location is great, and it is extremely convenient to have a bar/restaurant and ... general store within walking distance. When we saw staff and had interactions with them, they were extremely friendly andhelpful. The food is ok, quick service, but limited menu, and nothing to write home about. Onto the nitty gritty? For the priceper night, per family cabin all quality was lacking. I get that it?s not some fancy resort, and that we are paying to stay inolder cabins, however, I sure hope someone takes notes and makes the much needed upgrades for future customers. I?d like to listsome suggestions for the owners and management staff. These are things our family would of enjoyed as accessibility?s; 1. Atable cloth for the picnic table out front and possible a large tub to fill with water to rinse feet before entering theproperty, or even a hose to spray sandy items. 2. It would have been helpful to have a small vacuum, a good broom and dust pain, and possibly a small wet swifter for the floors. 3. More than one extra trash bag, especially when cooking and prepping food. 4.Furniture that is a little more updated, and possibly a coffee table or something to put drinks on when lounging inside, orwatching tv. 5. Black out curtains would be a nice touch, but what would be nice would be properly installed and working curtainrods. 6. Wooden chairs that don?t fall apart when you move them. 7. Pots with handles, frying pans, more than a few cups, a fewplates and a few pieces of silverware. Paper towels would be appreciated or more than one dish towel. Pot holders for thehandleless pans would have been appreciated. Also, just a thought? plastic bags, or Tupperware to pack food items for thebeach. 8. There was plenty of sleeping space for our family of five, but beds that didn?t fold you and your husband into aburrito every time you slept would be nice. 9. Fly paper rolls or some sort of insect catcher. My son did make fri Read more
