Most excellent! My wife chided me because I forgot to make a reservation, but fortunately, we were able to get a spot at the... bar. It was the perfect place for dinner to cap of a day of golf at Cog Hill. My wife was carb loading and running in theChicago marathon the next day, and it's hard to be an Italian joint for such an occasion. I thoroughly enjoyed my veal marsala, but my wife got the Penne Con Ricotta and Spinach (after seeing the lady next to her order it) and it was the awesome. Gotta sayPenne Con Ricotta and Spinach > Veal Marsala and that's not a knock on the veal marsala. Also, for what it's worth, the placewas slammed and the bartended was absolutely busting her tail. In a time where customer service has taken a dip all around, Icertainly appreciated how hard she was working. A+ service and food! Oh and bonus points for having the UNC football game on atthe bar! :) Read more

We just had our daughters baby shower at La Dolce Vita last weekend. We could not have been happier. We looked into many... different places. So happy we chose La Dolce. No room fees or minimum spends. The service, costs, communication and flexibilitywere beyond our expectations. Margie was amazing to work with as well as the staff the day of the party. I would highlyrecommend to anyone looking for a banquet room for any type of party. Read more

Second time visiting. Food was excellent. It was our anniversary so i made reservations. We were promised a candle lit... cannoli which never appeared. The service is excellent but Kathy the hostess doesn't seem to pleased with her job. I wontlet one bad apple spoil the great experience for me. Read more

Really wanted to love this place. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy and inviting. The service, staff and food need serious... improvement. We ordered appetizers. Soup and or salad come with most entrees. The soup was served 1st, before the appetizers, which is odd. We waited for our salad and they proceeded to deliver our entrees and we never were served our salad. So, whenasked, they brought the salad. We were eating salad while our entrees sat on the table. Needless to say, our entrees were thencold. The pastas were mediocre and over cooked. The hot appetizers were not hot at all, lukewarm at best. As we were leaving, the hostess literally grunted a goodbye and looked extremely unhappy. I'm not sure what is going on here but believe thisrestaurant may be under new owners as our reviews from friends said this was a fantastic place serving top rated Italian food. Not at all and not worth $300 whatsoever. Won't be going back. Read more

Great local chain Italian restaurant group! Good selection, medium priced, good volume entrees, well trained staff! Parking... difficult in downtown Lemont. Paper on top of nice linen? Had a party of 10, served well and attentive!!! Read more
