Visited Digs after a great hike at Waterfall Glen. Walked in and was immediately greeted by Taylor Swift?s music, which was... great! Sat at the bar top and enjoyed a delicious lunch and drinks all while getting to know Jen, the owner, and Gabby, one ofthe waitresses. Went here tonight because the weather was unseasonably and amazingly warm and pleasant and Digs has open air seating with live... music. There was a bit of a wait to get a table and after we ordered we waited over 40 minutes for our food but honestly it wasworth it. We enjoyed Todd Beebe?s guitar playing and singing. We definitely enjoyed our wings and macaroni and cheese. We?ll beback to sample other things on the menu. Read more
Who ever hired the manager who worked Sunday evening behind the bar with blonde hair male who liked to flip his bangs should... really reconsider that position the gave him. His arrogance, disrespect, and attitude was something I?ve never experiencedbefore at any other restaurant I?ve gone to in my entire existence on this world. Thursdays specials included $5 wines, $7 sangria and -$2 off quarryfare. Mistakes on the billing continued after 3x asking... waitress Ashley to correct them. The fourth time she told me to talk to the bar person. We walked out!! We were introducingfriends to the good food and service. We love to support local restaurants and we?re excited to finally give Digs on Canal a try! The interior was smaller than I... expected, but it wasn?t too busy when we were there (and I know there is outdoor seating as well, which I am very excited to trythis summer!). The staff were very kind, friendly, and helpful. The wait for our food felt rather long for how many people werethere, but probably was only around 20-30 min? Everybody is short staffed these days so I try not to count that againstanyone! We had our drinks brought out quickly so appreciated those to sip on?the green apple sangria (seasonal) was delicious! Iordered bbq chicken wings which were huge and honestly really great. My husband ordered the Reuben panini which also was reallywonderful in terms of flavor, texture, and a great size for the price. Our friends ordered Buffalo wings (which they said werereally good?especially the Buffalo sauce) and Mac n cheese. We would definitely consider coming back again, especially for thelive music nights! Digs on Canal was both charming and a great experience. I went on a Saturday so they was live music that made dinner even more... enjoyable. The menu has so many options to choose from - I opted to build a burger and it was absolutely delicious. The friesare also well seasoned. The owner, Peggy, made a point to come over just to say hello, introduce herself and ask how we were.Our server, Katie, was both kind and did an excellent job checking in on us a comfortable amount. I?ll definitely be returning -they also have outdoor igloos which seems like it might be a fun experience. Read more
