My first visit/experience was great. Second visit not so much.... Now first off: The food is good and I'm not going to knock... them on that. Tried the cuajitos on my second visit and it was great. Now let's talk about the service... they are in need ofemployees. Severely understaffed and the owner (lo siento) does his best but you have to take the good with the bad. I mentionedto him about a particular item we weren't happy with because it didn't represent what this particular item is supposed to be.Willfully I wanted to return it but he suggested with adding a dessert. We agreed but received snacks instead. All this whileseeing his body language not being happy. The server had more of an attitude while we were being polite about it. Look... when acustomer gives you a compliment that's great but when a customer is not happy, you should attend them with the same joy,especially if they're being respectful. Don't know if we'll come back (45-60 min. drive). Probably if they're better staffed butI have to let this recent experience die out. We have friends who visit here all the time. I truly wish you the best but I'vebeen in this industry a long time and those customers who are difficult to deal with, I can understand. But being polite andstill treating customers being upset, nah papa. Get staffed or take some time off and recoup. The 3 stars is the average of bothvisits, and I'm being generous because the food tastes good. Cuídense ????? UPDATE 11/25/22: Came back to give them anothertry.... I had the ensalada de pulpo with rice and beans and it was great. The pulpo had a tad too much vinegar for my taste budsbut it was still great and I like that they didn't skimp out on the octopus. Excellent, friendly service. They?ve done a lot of improvements to the interior, the atmosphere is casual, tropical and modern.... The menu has a lot to choose from. The food was delicious and had a beautiful presentation. We had freshly made juices. Greatjob! Read more

Take out is terrible food tasted like the oil where they fried the chicken was old, tostones were too chunky, fries were saggy... like I?ve never seen in my life. Bolitas de mofongo were like grape shape extra small. Ordered chicken tenders for my daughterand she bite it twice and said they tasted bad, oreo frappe was watery. I give two stars cause arroz mamposteao was average.$45and everything was terrible nothing tasted good. Service fast and friendly. Had mixed platter. Chicken and pork chunks excellent. Frozen FFs mediocre. Sweet tea tasted homemade.... Mofongo was wonderful, tostones average. Definitely will return. Only con - music too loud. I see a lot of complaints in foodiepages about lots of restaurants where you have to shout to the person next to you. Restaurants should read their comments. Read more
