Good food, good location, pretty good everything. Came here for lunch and there was minimal wait, but there were other... guests. Seemed to be picking up a dedicated customer base. People were laughing and having a good time, which usually meansthe food and service were a-ok. Our food was very flavorful and the portions were pretty good. The wifey and I didn?t dig thelittle side salad that came with our meal, but the rest was really good. All-in-all a nice little date spot. And for what it?sworth, the soda water was ON POINT! I went at 330pm wanting some hot fresh food. When I got inside there was no one cooking nothing in the stove. Which made me ask... if there chicken was fresh not cooked earlier in the day and Am I getting old food. Which the lady says yes all our food isfresh, we have it on the grill.( didn?t see anything). All out of chicken on the bone so I tried the chicken bowl. It was very tasty! Didn't need any extra sauces on it. Very... wholesome with chicken, rice, and greens. We ordered the Family for 4 dinner for take out. We added soup & a wrap to try as well. The chicken breast with medium sauce was... very flavorful & the sauce had great heat to it. Without the sauce the chicken breast would be somewhat dry. The potato logfries are a must w/ fry sauce. They?re crisp on the outside & melt in your mouth. They have the right amount of salt & the frysauce adds unique flavor. They were delicious! The cucumber mango salad is not good. The cucumbers are very soft & mushy.Basically you?re buying vinegar cucumbers. The vegetarian wrap was nice & light and delicious if you love mushrooms. The soupwas terrible. The flavor, the texture, the color was all disappointing. We love vegetable soups, but this soup was terrible.Overall, it is a unique place w/ a great cause. My suggestion is to stick with the chicken & potato log fries. You?ll be happyyou did! The customer service was a little off. I ordered online & they didn?t check my order prior to giving it to me.
