Ate here for the first time, and it's pretty good. I decided to order a "Build Your Own" Gyro. I filled it with Lamb and Beef,... Roaster Pepper Tzatziki, lettuce, tomatoes, and banana peppers. I went here based on the recommendation of a friend. It did not disappoint! The staff was very helpful to someone new. I got the... classic gyro with lamb/beef. Topped it with red pepper tzatziki sauce (which was a little spicy), tomato, lettuce and cucumber.The gyro was packed full of meat and toppings. It was very tasty and filling! The food is pretty good, but the options for how to get it and the high prices make this someplace I have to think twice about... before going and decide that I really want it. I like getting a bowl, but the normal rice bowl is too big and is 50% rice whichis pretty greasy and tasteless. There is no option for a smaller size and you're not allowed to swap some of the rice forlettuce. You can choose three veggy toppings, but only get a small spoonful of each. The bowls also come with pita bread thatyou pay for but cannot swap for something else if you don't want it. If you want a salad or half and half bowl, meat is notincluded for some reason and is an extra few dollars. This is on top of an already expensive item. A soda costs more than atwo-liter bottle. If there was an option for a smaller bowl that was less expensive, and an option to swap the pita bread forsomething else (like more toppings), this would be a much better deal. As it stands, it's just too much food and too expensivefor lunch (and was already too expensive pre-inflation excuse). Read more
