We had such a great dinner! The restaurant is a cozy and the food has that “home cooked” meal feel. It’s definitely a laid... back environment but we love that. We had the pork special with Dijon sauce and mashed potatoes and artichoke&spinach dip tostart (huge portion). It was sooo delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try more! Read more
We had high hopes for eating here but were disappointed on many levels. I had seen a large social media presents and the reviews... I’d read were good. The location is great and we went for dual purposes of the live music and food. The live music wasfantastic and made the poor service and food more noticeable because we waited so long. We were a party of three sat on thelower patio and ordered two of the salmon specials and a pizza. The food took a long time to appear (40 minutes I wouldestimate) and my pizza was luke warm. The pizza itself tasted good but wasn’t hot enough. The fish mains were good but werebrought out and we had no cutlery on the table. The server took a long time to bring cutlery by which time the food was goingcold (not our main server). We ordered a sticky toffee pudding for dessert and this came out cold (this had also taken aboutanother 30 minutes to appear). Which we thought wasn’t right because a) normally it’s served hot and b) it had ice creamwith it. Thankfully our server was really good and took it off the bill. We felt the servers were doing their best but let downby the kitchen. The guest we were actually dining with is a chef and said it appeared to be the kitchen staff. I do want toemphasise the girl serving us was excellent and doing her best. We’d return for the music and a drink perhaps but not thefood. Read more
Grossly under-staffed. Food was decent The price was more than you should pay for the quality of food. Our server had to manage... 7 or 8 tables it seemed like. Getting the food and no utensils no napkins no condiments. This is a reflection on the managementnot the servers running around like a chicken with their head cut off juggling tables. Read more
Not worth the price they charge. Absolutely horrendous first two people got their meal half hour before the last person got... theirs, reminded the staff about it manager came out asked what was missing told her, they brought out the wrong dishes still,when the right dishes finally came out they were cold stale buns not made how was on the menu, asked to speak to the manager,she did not come out to see us, had to find her in passing explained everything, told us she understood and kitchen was backedup(which we can understand but not to half hour extent for people at the same table) said not worries we won’t charge you fullprice, had to remind her again when we got the bills and not much compensation for the meal(12 dollars off an over $100 bill).Been before and it was great, maybe just an off night. Great food, great service, live music! Can't say enough about how good the Jalapeno cheddar burger was...oh man
