Outstanding experience and best pizza in town. From the moment I walked in and was greeted warmly by the owners, to the arrival... of the food I knew I had found my new "regular" pizza place. Gilbert's is a family owned and run establishment and they take apersonal approach to service. While I am in the restaurant I feel like I am a friend of the family and being treated as aspecial guest. Not only this, but the food is outstanding. Great local pizza place. The building was clean and well maintained. The sweet tea was good and sweet. I had the carnivore... stromboli and it was made fresh and hot. Great alternative to the big noz pizza joints. Would like to see an philly cheesesteak pizza or buff chicken, spicy chicken pizza, etc... just a little more outside the box recipes would be cool.
