Oooooo! This place is delicious! First timer and I got the salmon, my husband got the chicken pesto pasta and we also got 5... drinks and dessert! All for $100! Wow! Holland was our waitress and she was so nice! We were sitting outside and asked if wecould take the pole out of the table, no questions asked! She and another gentleman took it out for us. So sweet! We have now tried Sidebar twice and were disappointed both times. I usually only post positive reviews, but this restaurant... needs a wake up call. The food was cold and not cooked correctly. The waitstaff is slow, and o had to ask for lemon in my waterand salt and pepper three times. I sent my food back, which took way to much time to cook and it was a simple order, and toldthem I had to go back to my office. It took them almost 40 minutes to return with my meal, which I had to take to go. Themanager and staff all appeared to be around or under 25, and seemed not to care and they were slow with everything. The sidedish was recooked and served after 20 minutes, so I couldn't enjoy my meal all together. I had to take the rest of my lunch togo, and then it was cold when I got back to my office. At least the manager and waiter were nice, and didn't charge me for mylunch. My husband's lunch wasn't prepared any better, and he couldn't eat some of it, but he didn't send it back. Anyone or anyrestaurant could have an off day, and I didn't leave a bad review the first time, but 2/2 cooking, waiting, and timingdisasters are two too many, especially when there are so many good restaurants in Leesburg. Not going back, very disappointedand I had such hope for a better outcome this time. Read more
It was not a good experience at all. Upon arrival we had to wait for not having a reservation, even with the place empty. ... going to the bar to ask for beers, water or something for the wait started it all. We never understood what happened but 45minutes for a Coca Cola, 30 minutes for a sauce and absolute inconsistency in the service was what we received in this place. Read more
My husband and I have been wanting to go to Sidebar for awhile now especially after reading all the good reviews. We finally... were able to go and we had a WONDERFUL experience. My in laws were in town from NYC so we took them as well. We sat at the barand Piano took care of us. She was amazing. That girl knows how to make a cocktail. Not only that, she was just very attentive,sweet & friendly. The cocktails and food were delicious. I can?t wait to go back. HIGHLY recommend if you?re in the Leesburgarea. 10/10 experience for sure. Nothing better than 200 year old buildings being used as restaurants in this part of their lifecycle. The service was excellent.... Plenty of room, tables not jammed together. Good choice of foods available for Sunday brunch. Read more
