Reviews for KOVI - Asian Street Food Kitchen in Leesburg, VA
The people who work there are extremely sweet and it makes me feel bad for rating them so poorly but if you're a bulgogi fan... this place will deeply disappoint you. It tastes nothing like the bulgogi you'd eat at kbbq. I ordered a rice bowl with thebulgogi and was sick the entire day because it did not suit my body at all!!! I did not try anything else and hence I won'trecommend to never try this place. But I went out of my way to write this review only for the bulgogi. Read more
Unfamiliar experience of building a Pokémon bowl by pointing and choosing from unknown ingredients but they were absolutely... patient, friendly, and informative. Got a kale base with beef bulgagi, peanut sauces, kimchi, edamame, etc and could not havebeen happier- it worked! Despite the experience being so new and unknown, the staff put me - in dirty bib overalls and a ClassIII vest - at ease with a comfortable, Mom and Pop feel, like family. Will go back whenever I am able. Read more
????MOUTH WATERING BULGOGI!! ???? Our job catered a Kovi Food Truck to our job site so this review will be based off of that and... not the restaurant. I got a bulgogi rice bowl and was able to customize it to my liking and it was delicious! It was wellpresented and beautiful and the two people running the truck were really kind and helpful. I also ordered a banh mi sandwich andthat was also quite tasty. I would definitely stop by the restaaurant and see what else they have to offer because both foodplates were a banger and devoured within minutes ???? Read more
This place used to be so good. The past 3 times we've gotten it, just gets worse and worse. Kimchi is warm garbage now and the... beef is dripping with nasty grease. Its a shame because my wife and I loved to get it almost once a week for years. They haventhad AC in months, employees look miserable and everything is just dirty now. Really hope they bounce back but i don't see thisplace sticking around for too much longer. Read more
More fusion than Asian, I'm afraid to say The banh mi was a BBQ Pork with American style Cole slaw. No vinegar marinade from... what I could tell, mostly standard ranch slaw The wings are basically just orange chicken wings with some scallions and sesameseeds on top. Standard wing frying as well, don't expect to get any karaage styled chicken here The fries were decent, withwhat I think was the only actual Asian ingredient among the three: kimchi in cheese Pricing isn't bad given the portions, butif you want a better tasting banh mi go to Roll Play, if you want Asian fusion chicken go to the Block If you're fine with moreAmerican in your Asian American fare, then this place should suit you just fine Read more
Was shopping at the nearby outlets, and had a craving for poke. This nearby gem is quite the treasure. Super fresh poke and an... abundance of fresh toppings, just plain bowl goodness. Very sweet staff as well. Will definitely return! Read more
This place used to be amazing. Still absolutely love the staff, but food has gone downhill. The kale mix comes dry now instead... of dressed in peanut sauce as advertised. The kimchi was my favorite ingredient here, and now it tastes like cabbage andketchup. It is not even the same color anymore. Read more
It's my first time here, I really liked the food, very clean place and good service
