The food was absolutely delicious. My wife had an arepa loca and I had a beef arepa. The meat was flavorful. The egg and... everything else complimented the meat excellently. The environment was laid back and the staff were friendly as can be. I wouldcome to this place everyday if I lived nearby. Highly recommend for others to check it out. Support small businesses. Overall not good quality food I was hoping for based on the ratings.. My wife and I shared one platter and 3 empanadas. The... empanadas were a bit overcooked. The platter contained a few components - good sausage, very very dry and overcooked porkbelly, okay cauliflower cake, okay beans, okay rice, and a quarter avocado with the peel still on. Read more

Stopped into Chefscape for a pre-movie dinner. Colombian?s Place is really excellent food! Husband and son both had the Bandeja... Paisa. They are foodies, and couldn?t stop raving about how good it was. Portions were huge and beautifully presented in awooden plater. I am not a foodie but I am picky. I had the CP salad and the cheese arepa. Both were delicious. The chickenseasoning and house dressing for the salad were amazing. The cheese arepa was light and yummy. The (I assume) owner came overnot once but a few times to check on us and tell us about the food. It was obvious he really, really cared about our experienceand wanted to make sure everything was perfect. It is so rare to see that these days and it made a great experience over the topexcellent. Add to the fact there was also good music playing at the venue, all made for the perfect chill, delicious Fridaydinner! Will totally go back! Read more

I like to try new cuisines all the time, and decided to give this spot a chance. The location is not the most convenient, and... difficult to find if you?re not familiar with the place. Luckily, I was able to find a parking spot a couple blocks away andwalked over to the restaurant to pick-up my to-go order. I drove back home and stopped along the way to get a drink. Excitedlyopened up my 3 containers of food & sides. I ordered a bandeja paisa, empanadas and a cheese arepa. The smaller containers hadmy sides and as soon as I opened the bigger container, my excitement turned into disappointment. The avocado was completelyrotten! It amazes me how they decided to include it in my order seeing how disgusting it looked. I quickly threw it away, andtried the rest of the food. I was unimpressed with the freshness and taste altogether. I mainly ate the plantain and pork. Idecided to try the empanadas, and once again unimpressive. They were pretty dry and I managed to eat one out of 3 I ordered! Itried the cheese arepa last and I wish that was the only item I ordered. Although a staple of Colombian culture, it?s quitebasic but it had a sweet cheesy flavor which I enjoyed. Overall, the experience was quite disappointing, and I don?t intend onreturning. It was my intention to support my Latin community but I was highly unimpressed for the $30+ paid. Read more
