Bill Haase makes the best damn beer in the country and it?s not even close. I?ve never had a beer here in 4+ years that was... anything less than a 4.75 out of 5.0. I?ve ordered kegs for private parties, entertained private parties at The Hoof, andthoroughly enjoyed many of the various activities/festivals hosted here. Good, consistent beer. They have mostly German inspired beers and use imported German hops. They have the most consistently... available hefe on tap in the area that is very very good and similar to a Franziskaner. The service is consistently good, theonly downside is that they are typically very busy on any given Saturday and Sunday and it's often hard to get a seat. Definitely worth checking out! Read more
Really nice local brewery with inside and a limited amount of outside seating. They currently have 10 beers on tap. I had a... kolsch and a hefeweizen, and both were very good. Limited food menu, but they welcome you to bring in outside food. Definitelyworth a visit! Read more
Wasn't a huge fan of their beer, plenty of seating and outlets, great place to get some work done. Not too many sour options... when I went on a warm Spring day. Best pint glass in Leesburg though. Read more
The best brewery I've been in since I left Germany. Great selection of excellent beers with a great staff of friendly people.... I'll most certainly be back again. Try the Märzen and doppelbock. They have no equal in the area. Read more
Friendly staff. Fantastic beer! (But, bring your own food.) If you enjoy German style beer, you need to visit Black Hoof... Brewing Company. (Yes, they also have an IPA on tap for those so inclined.) Some of the best märzen, pilsner, and gose craftoptions I've had recently served by some of the best folks in Loudoun county in glasses of varying styles that are available forpurchase (as well as t-shirts and bandanas). They do serve a Bavarian pretzel (or two), but everything else on the menu comes inliquid form. Cheers! Bright, lively atmosphere with an occasion BINGO game (for prizes). The beer here is reliably good no matter the season. Highly recommend doing a tasting and finding the right one for you!
