This is a great place for lunch. I've had their Quiche, wraps and salads. It's a great place to take friends for a relaxing... lunch without pressure of feeling rushed. There is also a nice gift shop for browsing in the rear of the Cafe. T Peterson Read more
I had lunch with my daughters and grandsons and we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. The interior of the restaurant has... a museum feel and the tables are not close and provide ample room. The posted pictures are of a Cibatta Club and MediterraneanWrap and Italian Wedding Soup. Many dishes come accompanied with fruit and delicious Pumpkin Bread that is made in house. Bothsandwiches were artfully prepared, fresh with great flavor profiles. Right on Main Street in Leesburg The Florida Porch is worththe trip. Read more
What an delicious and homey place to eat. The inside decor was perfect with the local art and natural light. Great ambiance. ... They even had an indoor porch to sit on. The food was equally as delicious. The Gorgonzola turkey sandwich was perfection. Theapples and Gorgonzola played well against the lingonberry sauce. Yummy! Ooh and the ciabatta was warm. Great sandwich. Theclub ciabatta was equally as yummy. Piled high with the meats and warm ciabatta. We also had the passion tea and raspberrytea. So good. So refreshing. Can?t wait to visit again. Even on travels home from north of leesburg we may be stopping by toeat here. Great place. You need to try it Read more
Stopped in for lunch one recent workday on the recommendation of someone who had previously been to the restaurant. Parking was... a challenge. It's on the street and that could mean several blocks over. The interior is fairly small, so keep that in mind. The menu is straightforward and quite simple. No burgers, no fries, no hot dogs, or those sorts of things. Sandwiches, salads,wraps... you get the idea. I ordered a pretty basic ham and cheese on rye, hold the tomato and the mayo, but a side of mustard. It came with a pickle that I didn't try, and very fresh rippled potato chips. The sandwich was good. Fresh, soft bread, nocurling meat or cheese... the sandwich had clearly just been made. I also had a bowl of the Italian wedding soup. It was cannedsoup, so go on that info. My colleague ordered a Waldorf salad with chicken. She said it was very good, including the tiny bitof pumpkin bread that came with it. Overall, I thought the salad was a little small for a meal portion. She did finish theentire thing. She also bought one of the little pumpkin breads to take home. The unsweetened iced tea was nice, not bitter. Mycolleague had plain water as they had no sparkling. We did not have dessert. We sat for a bit waiting for the check until ahelpful server (not the semi-grumpy one (no cheerfulness, no smile, no back and forth, just short answers... acted like we werebothering her-maybe she was having a very bad, no good day)told us we had to go to the counter to pay. The other servers (twoothers checked on us) were very warm and friendly. No worries! We paid and used cash for the tip jar. We'd stop by again if wewere hungry for a light lunch. Not the best place ever by a long shot, but certainly adequate for our needs that day. Read more
