I got fried green beans as an apppetizer country fried steak with mashed potatoes, and okra with a glass of water. The country... fried steak was pretty good but the mashed potatoes were cold. The gravy was bland so it needed a lil bit of salt and pepper.The okra was crisp and good but the fried green beans were a first for me and the most enjoyable item I had. I usually have breakfast in their other location because it's in the next town over where I live, but I always find myself in... that area so I tried going there for breakfast. It was clear from just the breakfast that I'd come back again. It was so good.Kudos to the chef that day. Everything was cooked to order but what put it over the top for me was the home fries. Amazing. I'mfrom Brooklyn and this was close to what I'm used to. More so than any other place I've eaten here in Florida. I can't wait totaste more. Read more
I was expecting the food to be okay, but it was actually terrific! I got the BBQ burger and it was one of the best burgers I?ve... had. The pork chop was huge and nicely fried to a crisp. Nice place with some southern flare. Save your appetite - the portions are not small. Hubby and I stopped here for a bite and... ordered cheeseburgers. Hubby had the Cowboy Burger and I had the Rodeo Burger. Probably cooked to order, since it took awhileto get the food, but the wait was worth it. Delicious, juicy burgers and hot n crunchy fries ???? Really great food, mom & pop feel. Service was good and they have an every-day all-you-can-eat catfish dinner that is amazing.
This restaurant has a huge menu. I stop in to try their Chicken Salad sandwich. It was stuffed with meat. The price was only... $7.49 with chips. I did an upgrade for fries. I also tried their fried mushrooms with homemade ranch dressing. Both were a goodselection . My waitress Cindy was outstanding. She was very attentive and polite. Overall experience was good. Me and my wife have ate here many times and the food is usually purdy dang good. Every once and a while we get a off night. This... time they blamed it on a ?new cook? . In my opinion seems like they don?t care as much as they used to. You order a BLT andthat?s what you get for tomato? A small sliver and nothing on the other side of the sandwich? Normally the mamas chickensandwich is great but I think they forgot to pull it outta the fryer cause it was over cooked and very dry from that issue.
