I will start by saying we Love What A Burger. We are only able to visit them while visiting other states because we do not have... them. So when we saw this one we were excited ?- until we realized this one doesn?t represent very well. Fast food it was not!The employees, none of them, seemed to know what do do. Everything was empty, the tea dispensers, forks, napkins, etc. we waitedalmost An HOUR for our food. Tables were all dirty, & there were flies throughout the dining area. We do forgive for beingunderstaffed, but wow, these guys just don?t seem to know what to do. Even after we asked for everything we needed, they didn?trefill Anything for other patrons. We waited 23 minutes tonight to get our food and this was with us being second in line at the window.( we were able to put our... order in immediately upon arrival) When asked why such a long wait the employee said " It is Friday night. We are really busy." The parking lot was pretty empty and there were 3 people behind our truck. I called the manager and was told the same thing asprevious employee. I took the first bite of my cheeseburger and it was raw. They added condiments I did not order. The frieswere cold. I called the nanager back to inform of the poor quality of food. He offered to pay for my food on the next visit. Iwas asking him why he would think I would want more poor quality food free or not and he hung up on me. This store in generalhas the longest wait times of any I have ever visited. I have been 5-10 cars deep at other stores and received my order quicker. Read more
In had a double cheeseburger and it was $10 bucks for the sandwich alone. Thankfully it tasted well enough to cost that much. It... was fresh and the service was ok. I'm kind of undecided here. I would say come but it isn't life changing. Read more
So I wanted to see what all the rage was about and it did not disappoint!!! Best burger ever! I got the triple and it was... massive and so so juicy! We went around 9:00 p.m. and it wasn't busy at all! And it seemed like the food was super fresh!!! Thepicture really doesn't do it justice! I wouldn't get the Dr pepper milkshake again. Not worth the hype, first time eating here since they got in town, waited a little over 30 minutes to get my order, get home... -all the food was cold. I ordered the chicken strips kids meal and the strips are not edible, the breading is hard and it isvery dry, the fries are cold - This 2 year old here cannot eat this , what a waste of money, I spent $37 to feed 5 people whichseems to be the going price nowadays but its a waste of money if the food is bad and you have to throw it away- I could gone onabout the rest of the order- my burger was salty but no other flavors stood out it - not sure if I will visit again, only wentbecause the kids wanted it. It's okay. Not bad, nothing to write home about. The honey bbq chicken sandwich was alright. Tenders were mediocre, sauce was... too sweet for my liking (being in Kansas City, where the best BBQ is, it tends to be hard to impress in the BBQdepartment). Fries were good, reminded me a lot of McDonald's fries, but not as salty. The unsweet tea was actually reallygood. I'll probably come back, but there are many more burger places I'd rather eat before Whataburger. Read more
Nostalgia purposes? Tried a few times to eat here but it was always super busy. Seems to have died down a little. Overall, food... quality is on par with McDonalds. Fries were not good. Texas toast was soggy. Hamburger was decent. Likely won?t be going back.Five guys or Culver?s is way better! Read more
I visited this location today for the 1st time and there was no one working the register or instructions on how to put an order... in, so after standing and waiting for a cashier I took it upon myself to order from the kiosk. After I placed my order I satdown waited, after 30mins I had to go to the counter to ask for my food and cups to get my drinks. My burgers were not freshand the wrapper was messy. The only thing I liked on my ticket was the fries, they were hot and fresh. I don?t think I willvisit this location again. I will stick with Independence. Read more
