I have eaten BBQ all over America I grew up eating Kansas City BBQ and nothing else compares. Today I ventured in Jazzy B's... Dinner and WOW!! I had the absolute best Burnt ends that i have ever tasted!! These burnt ends could melt in your mouth andtruly stole the show! However their fried mushrooms would well be worth a 2500 miles road trip as well. If you have not eatenhere you are missing out my friend! I strongly Recommend it! Amazing Staff! Amazing Food! Amazing Period! a million pictureswill never do justice to the experience. Read more
Jazzy B's has the BEST BBQ I have ever had. And I have had BBQ all over the USA. I photographed my friend's rib dinner which... she said was amazing. The burnt ends and brisket were also represented at our table. A couple of others in our group had thecrab balls. (So if you prefer seafood, Jazzy has you covered too.) I had the pulled pork, Jazzy fries (with deliciousseasoning!), and mac and cheese. And, I had the BEST sweet tea of my life. I am very picky about iced tea and often order waterto avoid old or taste-less tea. I was ready to take a GALLON of this tea home. If you are in the Kansas City area, drive on outto the suburb of Lee's Summit. Every bite of food, every sip of tea will make you SO GLAD you did! Read more
I honestly can't praise the experience I just had here enough. I'm sitting in the parking lot charging my phone (cause it was... dead) because I HAD to recommend this place. I had a Briskit sandwich, and shared my girlfriends corn and baked beans. We barelytalked the whole meal because we were too engrossed in how good the food sitting in front of us was. Every single bite knockedour socks off. I hate baked beans but I could drink the ones here. The corn wasn't just buttery but covered in a garlic saucethat absolutely stunned me. The fries were covered in bbq seasoning, and I've never considered putting brown sugar on my friesbefore this moment. And the Briskit was legitimately the best, most tender cut of meat I've ever tasted. Eat here. Just doit. I'm traveling and we happened upon this owner operated little place and I am legitimately sad that I'm not going to bethrough here again anytime soon. Because I already want to eat there tomorrow. Great spot for a unique meal. Many of their items are a twist on a classic. The Reuben rolls were amazing. I was very full when... I got there but it didn't stop me from eating. They are well known for their jazzy fries that Comes with a special sauce. Theydo sell the sauce in store and I picked one up for myself. I heard they are no longer selling ribs but if you can, catch them ona day they sell their chicken wings. These are massive and the smoke permeates it so well. They are located in Lee summit witha medium sized private parking lot. Makes it easy to get to. Read more
Thought I would support a small business and I?m glad I did. When shops are able to fully open up again, I will definitely dine... in. Service is great and staff is friendly. Food was good but had to travel back to the house 20 min so the fries didn?t standup to the ride very well ( no fault of the restaurant fries never last in a closed container). I still ate them at 60% of theirpotential ???? Read more
Kurt and I had a most excellent lunch last week. BBQ and Cajun options, and I look forward to exploring the Cajun next time I... go. I did get the crab balls and they were delicious! The pesto aioli was perfect. I had the three meat platter, Kurt orderedby the pound The ribs were my favorite, burnt ends second. Fries are dusted with spicy and sweet and perfectly crispy. Beanshad lots of meat in them, weren't as sweet as they looked they were going to be (thank goodness). I liked the environment andtheir upper area is great for large parties. Super amazing fantastic staff. I live that the owner features a wall of photos forsale by a local photographer. Read more
I used to come here fairly regularly. Was always overpriced, but I was fine with that because it had a very unique flavor.... Hadn't been there in 10 months, until I craved it one day. So I went there..... it was gone, the pictures you see are not thatplace anymore. So I called and asked " where they moved to?" They moved into arcade alley, a bar in lees summit. So I go there. Not only could ya not order from the kitchen, ya had to scan your phone on a barcode and wait.... no idea why they moved, but itwas a bad decision...a once unique place turned itself into a VERY LACLUSTER eatery. The food all of a sudden sucked, and sodid the bar. Not sure how they can call themselves an arcade..... Read more
