If you frequented the restaurant that used to be here, this is not in the same category. Galasso's makes very good pizza, but it... is standard fare pizza, not the kind of gourmet pizza you might expect given the oven that is right next to the entrance (whichdidn't appear to be in use). The establishment is more a pizzeria than a restaurant. It seemed like they were struggling withgetting enough help hired, and the owner is a bit gruff. Thank goodness Galasso's reopened after the fire at their last location. We travel 25 minutes for their food. Hands down the... best pizza in the area. Their Brooklyn Pie is at the top of our list of the best thing we ever ate. All else is is stellar, too. Read more
