Reviews for The Elm Street Eatery in Lebanon, MO
We have been enjoying this restaurant for over 20 years. Something happened here today that left me stunned. We stopped for... lunch today and were told they were closing early, but we had time to order and eat. We were seated and a young waitress quicklytook our order. We had a third party meeting us and they were in town just a few blocks away, literally, just a few minutesbehind us. We asked an older waitress if we could order for that person and she told us yes and that she would tell ourwaitress, which we saw her do. Our waitress took a long time to come back to our table after being told. After she took theorder for our guest (which we thought had been placed) she went to the manager/owner. By that time our lunch guest had arrived. The manager came to our table and called me a liar about placing the order. At that point our guest had a few words with themanager for calling me a liar. The manager told our guest that he needed to leave as he had called the police to have himremoved. The manager was angry and extremely rude. Our meals has been brought to our table. We got up and paid for our mealwhich we were unable to enjoy. The manager/owner then told us that we could stay and eat but the guest had to leave....Really??.... We told him that we would never be back and he said that he was ok with that. May he be blessed with the $30.00that we paid for the meal that was left on the table. We will never be back. Read more

Great food. Warning: the cinnamon roll is HUGE. You may not be as hungry after it. My wife and I split it and took a lot of food... to go. We had great service from Jenny Read more
The Elm eatery was great the biscuits were huge, fluffy and fresh ! The gravy was classic dash of pepper and you're set. The... fried okra was extremely good as well. The prices were fair, the service was excellent and they kept the coffee cup full ! I'llbe back in October! Read more
Went here today. 2 people in our party wanted the Meatloaf, server said they were making a new batch (which was a lie) so one... ordered a steak, it was so tiny! Like half a burger patty with potatoes. Not worth the price! Last time we went here, my kidordered Meatloaf, they actually had a Thanksgiving platter, which was sooooo good! My other kid ordered biscuits and gravy, andthat's usually his favorite meal, he hated it. I thought he was being picky, and I tried it, no. The biscuits tasted old, andwere rubbery. I really wish I woulda got the servers name. She was so sweet! The food for 3 out of 5 people sucked! My dad camedown from out of state and took us out to eat. I really wished I went to chens. They never disappointed us. Read more
My family was traveling and passing though Lebanon and I checked to see where a great local spot would be to eat. TripAdvisor... shared this place as the #1 so we gave it a shot- and were MORE than pleased. It was everything we could have hoped for in adelicious family meal. Our table (including ages 6 to 65 and also in between) ordered everything from breakfast platters to sidesalads and club sandwiches, and even chicken tenders with home style fries. EVERYTHING was absolutely amazing. The Westernomelette, hash-browns & pancakes were my choice for the evening and oh my....YUM!!! Our waitress was incredibly attentive, friendly & all smiles. Would recommend highly and definitely will revisit when passing through again. Read more
