Had the ribs, they were amazing. Did not even have to use any kind of sauce. They were perfect just the way they came out. Will... definitely be back. The service was great. Stopped in for lunch on the way back from the lake. I had the tri tip sammich...it was the bomb, with horseradish sauce! I was... so into it getting in my mouth I forgot to get a picture! The home cut fries were great as well. We\'ll make Mel\'s a routinestop in the future! Read more
Had a nice lunch this afternoon at Mel\'s on Madison. Our server Ashley was exceptional. She was very personable and... knowledgeable and answered our questions about the various sauces we might like to try. If you like horseradish, the homemadehorseradish aioli was excellent and we will try the Tri Tip sandwich the next time we visit. Be sure to eat a slice of homemadecheesecake. The Butterfinger option was so delicious, we took Cookies and Cream and Strawberry Lemonade home with us. Thecheesecakes change weekly so we must try them all! Read more
OMG! This place is AMAZING! Brisket meal was phenomenal, pulled pork nachos were superb, the garlic coleslaw was fantastic, and... fries were crispy and flavorful! If we didn?t live in Illinois, this would be a weekly place for us! Next time we?re drivingthrough we?ll be sure to stop! Read more
My Boyfriend bought me the tri tip tacos from Mel?s today and they were off the charts outstanding. I must say tacos are my... passion and I?ve tried several different styles of tacos over the years, all over the states. The sauces that they had availableto accompany these tacos made it all that more pleasurable. I highly recommend the sweet and spicy sauce the mango habanero andthe bourbon peach. Those were the ones I tried and they were amazing! Following that, the service you couldn?t beat. FriendlyFast and so helpful. We will definitely be coming back. So I tried the cheddar bacon burger, it was delivered by my girlfriend and I live 15 mins away. The buyer was so amazing, nice... and juicy and savory, big boy burger status. Four of us had lunch today. Each had a different main as this was our first time there. All were awesome. Burgers were grilled... as requested. Tri-tip was amazing as well. Fries were especially good. Full of flavor and they stayed crisp. The sweet tea wasequally good. Wife and I had three glasses each! Wait staff was pleasant, helpful, and prompt. Absolutely no regrets and avery enjoyable experience. And I am a very hard sell. Looking forward to going back soon. Read more

Food is almost as good as \'made with love\' with top-notch ingredients,... home made.\n\nPerfectly and beautifully mediocre.\nProbably the best burger joint in Lebanon MO.\n\nThe food: no complaints.Hamburgers are excellent hamburgers. You won\'t write home about them, but you\'ll be very satisfied with yourpurchase.\n\nPlace is clean. Had to get up a few times to head to the back. Had to fetchmyself/request: beverages, plates, condiments, to-go containers, and directly request the check twice.\n\nAll good.
