We always use the curb side service. I would give this place a 5 star rating, but after placing the order and given a time for... the order to be ready for pickup, we always wait another 20 to 25 minutes for someone to come out and acknowledge our presence. Then they take another 10 to 15 minutes to bring our order out to us. So expect 45 minutes from the time they say your orderis ready to leave your house. The pizza is fabulous! Pros: 1) Lots of topping choices, and 3 options for crust 2) Fairly tasty 3) Lots of seating area 4) The Five Star Cheese with... garlic and pepperoni is heavenly (but probably a heart attack and a half). The ?cupping pepperoni? is placed on top instead ofunder the cheese like the normal pepperoni at minsky?s, so it actually ends up getting cooked a bit Cons: 1) (On our firstcouple of trips) Very skimpy on toppings (what you see is double pepperoni toppings on the pepperoni half (we ordered both kindsof pepperoni). The deep dish pizza was around 8/9ths floods crust with a smidge of sauce and cheese on top. Edit - I?ve added acouple images showing the 2-3 pepperonis per slice we later got on our to-go pizza 2) (On our first couple of trips) Price is abit higher than I?d expect for the pizza size and topping quantity. Absolutely WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.....Called in an order for my wife and 87 yo mother in law.....They said 20 minutes..Spaghetti... and Meatball Sub...Simple right??? LOL.SO we get to rest. in 25 minutes and no food...Well ONE AND A HALF HOURS later still NOFOOD....And there were many others waiting before and after me for as long....WHY I waited so long I will never know...AND INEVER DID GET THE FOOD>>>>Finally asked to refund money which was a big chore as well....Not even a sorry or anything from themanager or anyone....I was so close to doing something I would have regretted....They asked me 6 friggin times my name and whatI ordered while I was waiting and they just kept lying to me.....Been there many times but wife and I have decided we will NEVERGO TO MINSKYS AGAIN....And we will shout it from the rooftops to AVOID MINSKYS at any and all costs...... It's always good at this Minsky's, but Aug. 4 we had the absolute BEST pizza we've ever had in our lives. It was a thin crust,... half pepperoni/half Canadian bacon. It was ultra cheesy (without asking for extra) and cooked to perfection. We're not given toexaggeration. We truly could not think of ANYTHING that could have been improved. From out of town and with a few bad experiences ordering pizza, we called in to see what they had to offer, boy were we... surprised when their choices were unlimited, their customer service was the best we've ever had and the food was amazing to topit all off. We will definitely go back! Our server Josh was overly courteous and met every need that we had exceeding allexpectations and Steve the manager came to check on us just to make sure it was that much better, we thank you for yourattention to detail and to make us feel like we were at home! Greeted when we walked in the door. Everyone friendly, service was great. Tried their garlic cheese bread and Philly sandwiches.... Would say the cheese garlic bread could use a little more seasoning but would order again. The Phillies were really good, meatwas very tender. Will definitely go back. Read more
Food was great. Servers very nice and professionals. I got out on State Line and a guy in a truck, carrying a long trailer, came... out in front of me and two other cars. I hit my brakes (we hit our brakes) and my salad slid into the floor. I couldn't believeit! Salad was everywhere! I went back to Minsky's, walked in completely dejected, and asked as humbly as I could for a newsalad. They gave me a new one. They did not have to, but I'd set there and waited patiently for a medium pizza and a salad. Igot a Gummi Bear drink to go. I did not get but 3 blocks away and this guy knew he couldn't make it out on to State Line withoutall of us having to brake hard. My salad hit the floor. I was so upset! "Thank you" to the three who were working so hard thatday, managing the floor, which was a mess after a family had eaten and left, working the bar, and the "to go" orders!
