I always go to the Sausage Garten for hot dogs. It's quite a drive from Seattle to Leavenworth just for the restaurant's... homemade sausages, but I go there for that and visit the little shops and river. I give the restaurant a five-star for the tasteof the links and the friendly people that work there. Thanks to the staff for allowing me to video record and post a review onmy YouTube channel under LEE THOEUN + Best Homemade Sausages. I suggest the Spicy Italian and Polish sausages with cold Applecider. It tastes amazing! The condiments used to be an extra charge, but it's on the table for you, which is how it should beand perfect for the customers. Price-wise, you can expect to pay $20 to $30 per person, depending on your order. Sausage Gartencan sometimes get crowded if you're going there on weekends or holidays. If you're in Leavenworth, give this place a try, and Ihope you like it. Read more

The service was fast, and the hot dogs are awesome. The beer on Octoberfest is the best! Absolute perfection on the pretzel. The... picture doesn?t do it justice. Buttery soft salted pretzel with creamy white dipping sauce. Perfect combo, worth it for sure Read more

Order at the counter, then go to the assigned table. The food comes out quickly, portions are good, food is hot. You can keep... an open tab if you want additional drinks or food. Dining is outside, or inside. Read more

They have so many varieties of sausages, including vegan specialties. The Italian sausage was to die for! My daughter enjoyed a... vegan sausage. There are nearly as many varieties of mustards, sauerkraut, relish, etc, at the topping bar. They've got greatbeers, too, as well as a free glass of water if you're on a budget. The staff are very polite and accommodating. There arebathroom facilities onsite, and my daughter was able to bring her dog (on a leash) inside the covered seating area. On a busyday, you'll need to find parking across the street, either at the public lot or the library parking lot. Either way, the priceis reasonable. Of course you'll want to stay as long as you can at this Bavarian village. Leavenworth is unique, unless you arein Bavaria proper! Read more

This is a great spot for sausages, beer, pretzels, cider, and hot wine. The food was all very good, especially the hot sausage.... I am not a sausage fan just to give some perspective on the menu. The service was friendly. We were on the inside of thedowntown area and had to walk up steps to get in. However, I believe you have access from the street without stairs.. The viewis AMAZING. Between the food, view, and service this was one of my favorite food stops. Read more

I had the chicken apple sausage, so yummy!! They had a great sauce collection and a self service area which was efficient. There... were warm heaters under all the tables, and the view of front st is fantastic. I wouldn?t get a pretzel here though, it was kindof hard. Read more
