Wanted a hole in the wall looking place and saw this little house looking restaurant. Walked in and saw a few tables. Had an... amazing fried green tomato appetizer with a crayfish remoulade. Then got the Bastrop burger and was able to order it rare. Itwas amazing! Great service and will definitely go back if I'm in the area. I want to try a lot of things. Read more
Excellent every time. Favorite is the Southwest Mac and Cheese and Frenchalatta Sandwich. The service can be a bit slow but they... excel at customer service. Totally worth the wait. The waitress today offered to make our fried pickles as slices since wedon’t like the spears they usually serve. That’s awesome service. Also dog friendly! Note: photos are of Angry Pasta (firsttime trying - delish) and Frenchalatta. Read more

So my wife and I ordered delivery from here. A burger, fried pickles and crawfish etouffee. The burger and fried pickles were... great. Pickles were kind of cold but the breading actually held up really well for delivery. The crawfish etouffee on the otherhand...had So much grease. I tried my absolute harderest to skim as much grease as I could off with a spoon and napkin but therewas just so much grease it was unedible. Everything els was good. What in the world is going on with etouffee? Is that the normfor this place? And at almost $20 for a bowl that's extremely disappointing because I had to just throw it away. Read more
